  1. Oh my god, can't believe this thread still exists smile_o.gif

    Anyone remember me? wink_o.gif

    m000

    m0000 to you too!

yay.gif (These smilies didn't exist back in the days wow_o.gif )

I bet neither of you two remember this dirty spaniard though biggrin_o.gif

It's the first time i enter this forum in years, i certainly didn't expect to find anyone from the good old days smile_o.gif What happened to the rest of the crowd? Any of them still around (Major Fubar, Tovarish, Balschoiw, Denoir, Placebo, Ran, Hilandor, Albert Schweitzer, Ralph Wiggum, theavonlady, Ex-Ronin...)?

  2. I hate when reporters talk as if they were experts when they really don't know shit.

A few days ago the spanish TV showed images of what they called a "destroyed american tank" in Baghdad. I recognized it as a destroyed iraqui BMP 2.

Also you can hear them talk about B-1B and B-52 Fighter/bombers biggrin.gif

The Spanish Army started taking foreigners again last year, but only if they are from a few countries that have signed treaties with Spain (almost all of them are latin american countries) and get the spanish nacionality.

Yeah, seeing one of those in Europe is not common. smile.gif

Chryslers are now more common (at least here in Spain) but it's a lot easier to see Fiat, Seat, Renault, Citröen, Volkswagen, etc. In Madrid seeing a Chevrolet is even harder than seeing a Ferrari (no kidding, i've seen several Ferraris and Lamborghinis in my life and only one Chevrolet) wow.gif

In Spain you can see lot's of Fords (Ford Fiesta, Focus, Escort, Mondeo, Fusion...), but the only Chevrolet i've ever seen was a Corvette.

That's why my father sold that car. The goddamn computer saying beeep! forward left door is opened beeeep every 15 seconds even when all the doors were perfectly closed. Also, every time you had to repair something they had to bring the parts from France, and it consumed too much fuel. The BMW we have now is a lot better.

  7. I'm 18 so i don't have my own car yet, but i drive my parent's cars.

These are all the cars my family has owned since i was born:

2 VW Beetle (both were sold)

Seat 600 (a real piece of shit, it was wrecked)

2 VW Golf (one of them was bought in the early 80's and we don't have it now, the other was bought in 1992 and is my sister's car now)

Renault 25 (my father bought it in the early 90's and sold it later, it was a pain in the ass)

Citröen AX (wrecked in an accident, it was my brother's car)

    Citröen Xsara (my brother's car)

BWM 316ti Compact (my father's car, it's the one i drive)

    But i wonder how the Iraqi's would cope with the M1A2 MBT's supported by AH-64 gunships.<span id='postcolor'>

Maybe the same way the Chechens destroyed T-80's and Mi-24's in Grozny.

  9. Based on your answers, your profile matches...

    Lord Horatio Nelson!

    Biography:

Born to a poor family, Horatio Nelson was taken to sea by his uncle Captain Maurice Suckling, who would later become comptroller of the British Navy. From these humble beginnings, Nelson went on to become a military legend. He won a brilliant victory against the Spanish in the Battle of Cape St. Vincent. He gave the French a crushing defeat at the Battle of the Nile, which helped forestall Napoleon's ambitions. And he contributed to the victory of the Battle of Trafalgar, which kept Britain safe from future invasion by Napoleon's forces.

    Leadership Attributes:

Lord Nelson was brave in battle, and believed in leading from the front. In the Battle of St. Vincent, he helped a fleet of 15 ships defeat a Spanish fleet of 27 ships. Despite his ship being seriously damaged, Nelson ordered the ship forward and personally led the boarders onto the ship, engaging in hand-to-hand combat. He then boarded a second ship later in the battle! Nelson also planned diligently and had a reputation for great intelligence. He had his sailors' and the nation's love, and was regarded as a national hero.

  10. Yeah right. Those guy say they have cloned a person using the same procedure that was used to create Dolly and with a 50% eficiency!! Sure, a sect has archieved more than some of the best scientifics in the world who had the best equipment at their disposal. No way in hell.

But for next update could you PLEASE make them in there own class like "Operation Northstar's Canadian Men" or "Canadian Troops" or something like that. And also do it with you vehicles. They all take up a lot of space in the men and armoured folders. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE  smile.gif  smile.gif  smile.gif<span id='postcolor'>

No, don't do that! If you use dynamic classes they would only work with 1.90!!!
