You might be on to something there, I noticed everytime I reinstalled I had to delete the 1.42 patch I had keep in a back up folder and reunzip it from the zip I downloaded in order to get it to run. So I thought after I reinstalled the game and ran all the patches I'd copy the Flashpoint.exe to a driffent drive and rename it as a backup. Played a few times today then it stoped working on me again, so I deleted the exe from OFP dir and copyed the one I backed up and it seamed to fix my problem. Well not fix it fix it but least I dont have to reinstall the WHOLE thing every time now. Anyway, Thanks for the indirect fix Mister Frag -Subjugator

Thats what I thought also, but customer support says its my system and/or drivers. Only problem I see with this theory is that I can play the game fine for the first few days which leads me to believe my system works just fine. And the fact that I never had this problem with 1.30. Anyone else have any opinions about this matter? Or have had the same porblem? -Subjugator

My game only works for 2-3 days and then quits. Won't load at all, title won't even come up, Does'nt even look for disk. Anyway I posted this before but no replys. After I reinstall it works, But as I'm playing Multiplayer in the top left corner where chat is it says every once in a while "Remember: Original Games Do Not Fade." Â Does this mean it thinks my game is a Copy? and is stopping it from loading every few days? Â Someones has to know something here ( I can hope anyway) Thanks In advance; -Subjugator

What The fark is wrong here. Ever sense 1.4 (or 1.42) my game works for about 2 days then won't run again. The title screen doesnt even come up. I have to reinstall and it then works fine for about 2 days and then it shitz the bed again. Anyone else having this problem? I have a legal copy and a key ( i've reinstalled this SOB thing so many time I know the damn key by heart. I never had this problem with 1.3 and would just stay with it but then I can't play MP online. Does this have something to do with that BullShżt copy protection? I thought about trying to find a crack but not sure if that would work anyway. Someones got to know how to fix this ? Don't get me wrong this has got to be one of the best games ever, But I'll be damned of I ever buy something from BIS again. Man this is just not right. -Subjugator

I'm all of a sudden haveing trouble loading flashpoint. I'm running Win98 with version 1.4  I've played the game bunch of times and it works fine. I run the disk in my normal CD-rom Drive  but also have a burner. I unpluged the burner from my usb port to run something else and after that the game wont run anymore even if a reboot with burner pluged back in. This has happened a few timnes now I've reinstalled the game and it works the frist time but next day it wont run again. I click on the Icon and hard drive light goes on for a bit and then nothing. If I ctrl Alt Del and click on Flashpoint i just have to end task it. Anyone know WTF is going on here? does it have something to do with copy protection? I've tried to run disk in both roms and still no luck. Anyway I can fix this? maybe a no-Cd crack? any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thanks Subjugator.
