You know what I would like to see? I modern war game where you play as both yanks, ruskies, germans, brittish etc. The story would be in a higher level than the personal, while you play different characters that had a key role in a certain battle/situation in the fictive war.

You can steal the BMP, then drive to a safe distance from the base, jump off, and run fast as hell!! If you stay too long in the BMP, the Hind will kill you.

There is no point in adding fighter aircrafts to the game. If you want to fly fighters, take a look at Lock On - Modern Air Combat. It will have A-10, Su-25, Su27, F15, F16, Mig-29. OFP is a battlefield simulation with focus on ground war. Fighters have no place in this. I would rather see some descent SAMs instead. And naval units of course, as battle takes place on islands.

If you want a allround joystick, go for Saitek 3d cyborg gold. It´s the most confortable joystick out there, no matter the size of your hands. Force feedback is nice, but then it´s better to get a saitek x45, cost almost the same and you get a true simmer joystick. If you are rich, go for the cougar...

I´ve been in a war, not as a soldier, but as a child. What I remember as my biggest horrors was that under one night my neighbour became my enemy, that grown up ppl suddenly started to scream and cry out loud, or began to shoot other ppl. The war in itself, tanks, rockets and planes didn´t scared my so much. It was the fury, anger, hate, sadness, pain, agony and all those horrible and in that moment so strong feelings that grown up ppl showed that scared me. I didn´t understood then, I was most confused. Today I still don´t understand, and I don´t want to. But I think that is something that no game shows today. I don´t think it´s such a good idea to implement it into a game either.

What about that project they r making? That one about East Timor? Can´t that be classed as a OFP2?

In the Korea war, the russian Mig:s outclassed the U.S fighters in performance. The soviets had for a long time the best and fastest torpedoes. Just some examples, there are more.
