I've just got a SSD crucial C300 128gb, the first ever sataIII SSD. I've got it for 282€ and it was at 400€ only few weeks ago! Win7,page file and arma are on it now and it really feel like its another game now, especialy in a jet, its so smooth that I can't flyning a jet just for fun! The C300 is 355MB/s read and 215 MB/s write speed (in sata III),it's the fastest ssd as we speak and it has also a very good random write and read. see yourself: http://www.kitguru.net/components/ssd-drives/zardon/crucial-realssd-c300-256gb-review/

I should have say it on the first post, those empty vehicle were manned before. Its either chopper that 'got shutdown, the crew bailed and the chopper is landing smoking empty on the ground, AI will stay focus on the empty gunned down chopper and not the other flying ones! Or its the same with HUMVEE, once the crew has eject or been killed they still try to blow up the car even if its no more a risk. :( This is not the same with TANKS...empty tanks dont get blow up by enemy...

AI fire all its ammo on empty vehicle on day light. This happens for chopper and jeep with M2. How to prevent this? Is it a bug? It just kills my home made mission as the AI has no more ammo when they encounter enemy soldiers.

Hi had the same issue check here to see my fix: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=75609&page=3

OK... I reply to myself... I have fixed the problem and I can play now for hours in SP with the editor in a huge battle:yay: Before to find the solution I've done this: *reinstall vista 64bit on new HD * udapte lastest driver for MB,sound card, Video card, DX9&11 * Run my system as default (no OC) * Reinstall ARMA2 on new disk & OS All this did nothelp still CTD with dx9 erro! The last thing I've done is to enable AA (low) and 3D resolution to 25% And guess what!!!I could play hours with no crash! IF I dont set any 3D resolution (0%) it crashed again. So it seems that AA and 3D resolution do its little miracle for me. To resume here is my WORKING settings: 3D resolution: 25% AA:low AF: low or normal Memory: very high Texture Detail :very high Object details: normal terrain details: normal Postprocess Effects:low

I had the same issue, I had to downclock my cpu of 200MHZ and since it is working fine. (now Q9550 @3.2GHZ) Before downcloking I've tried all other solutions, vcore, memv, fsbV ect... All my test for stability were fine OCCT and other games. Its funny you are all OC...

This is too bad, there is no more good reason to buy a GTX285.. "For this fall, we're able to say something we haven't been able to say for quite some time: AMD has the high-end market locked up tight." See the detail here:http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=3650&p=14
