I'll buy it the day its released, BIS have never done anything to disappoint me and I trust that anything they decide to do with OFP2 will be well thought out and executed, so they're assured 30 notes from me

Also it'd help in SP and the editor too, save you locking every vehicle etc, plus again you might only have one person in your team that is able to fly a helicopter, if hes killed, that (insert OFP2 chopper here) that you decided to not destroy and use for your escape when you assaulted the enemy camp now becomes useless and you'll have to figure out how else to get out.

Don't know if anyone has asked for anything similar, but it'd be useful if you could set what vehicles a soldier can use, for example in OFP at the moment, you can take a civilian housewife and have her fly an A-10, which would take months of training to be able to operate What I'm suggesting is like a series of checkboxes such as 'Can drive cars' 'Can drive armour' 'Can fly helicopters', either that or a series of sliders which effect the control of the vehicle, i.e. a low slide giving reduced control etc. It would probably be only useful for human players, but it could add an element to multiplayer so you have to pick your best drivers and pilots and look after them. Maybe its more hassle than its worth, just wanted to use this forum though

Monkey Island 1: Bob and Lechuck and the other one Monkey Island 2: Lechuck again Monkey Island 3: Lots of Skeletons, LeChuck yet again Monkey Island 4: The Aussie Bloke They're all pixel people that die, having said that though, all bar the aussie are already dead, but still If you're feeling bad running people down in GTA3, if you wait by tyhe casualties then an ambulance arrives and revives them, so you're safe in the knowledge that you only injured them. </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">A 15 year old teenager firing a rifle at you is still a combatant. I'd shoot as i'd consider my ageing azz to be worth more as well as any fellow comrades. Their "innocents" flees them the moment they engage to kill YOU!!<span id='postcolor'> Happens in the real world, I have a mate in the IDF and hes told me that this happens all the time, you don't see them as a kid, they just become a target because they'd try and kill you given the chance.

BBC is the best I've seen, they try to stay neutral, especially when the Iraqi Information Minister comes out with some of his classics, you can see the BBC people wanting to laugh, but saying 'The Iraqis however claim this, we'll try and get evidence to support it as soon as possible.'

I bought this after trying the Demo Beta ages ago, I've nearly completed it and I think overall its a good game. It doesn't try to be a sim, so I don't try and compare it with OFP, from the outset its a shooter with a realistic theme and it does that very well. Its one of those games thats good for stress relief, for when some stupid Welsh woman tries to claim 400 quid off your insurance cause you supposedly backed your car into her garage, you can just load one of the Hummvee missions and just shoot stuff when an OFP mission would take longer to set up, and taking pot shots at her windows with your rifle probably wouldn't be the best idea I don't usually take much notice of graphics in games, sometimes crap graphics have excellent gameplay (Carrier Command anyone?) but the graphics on this one really amazed me, the water effects are the best I've seen in any game so far (albeit I don't play these silly shooters like Unreal so I wouldn't know if they beat it). The Nightvision effects are very well done too, they give the impression that they NVGs are actually making a difference rather than the usual 'Monitor Green Screen Mode' effect. Also some of the profit from the game goes to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation which helps the kids of fallen operators.

Some of you might remember me from back on the old Flashpoint1985.co.uk forums, most of you probably don't even know who I am, not that it matters of owt :E Anyway with my girlfriend in hospital, I need to do somat to take my mind off it, so I thought I'd release this thing thats been kicking around on my hard drive for ages now after only just getting back into Flashpoint again. Its essentially my first proper mission, and is probably fairly crap compared to others out there that I enjoy playing, but I'll let you lot decide that. Its basically just a shooter in the end, but some people do enjoy that. Any sort of feedback is welcome, I'd like to try improve it if I can, bear in mind though that I don't know scripting and I don't have the time to learn it properly just yet, although any little tips to improve it would be good. Also the Russian was written by a Russian Israeli soldier, and hes currently away from home, so I can't comment on the Russian aspect of it really and my Russians not good enough to translate his slang Download link is http://members.lycos.co.uk/danshack/pie.html Click the link on there. Tripod will probably take it down so I'll email it to anyone if I can't find another host site in the meantime.
