Help! transparent logo for vehicles...
Sgt Kabukiman replied to Sgt Kabukiman's topic in TROUBLESHOOTING
It'll be a tutorial for Photoshop 6 (which I use)... I hope it also applies to all the other Programs (like PaintShop Pro etc.)... -
Check out the W2K Gamelauncher (WinLauncher XP) at http://www.gameroffice.com Can be setup to either start your application in Higher Mode or "watch" your running applications to change them afterwards....

I doubt that it has to do with the Custom-face.... What happens if you choose another face (one from the original faces)? Does it connect then?

Help! transparent logo for vehicles...

Yeah, the 256*256 JPG works flawless! Tried everything with transparency, even 24bit, 32bit, 128*128, you name it.... But I found another thread here on this board, that says you don't need to use TexView at all! Maybe that's the problem, using TexView.... Ill try it without converting in Texview, thanks anyway for your help!!! http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....uad.xml That's the link to the thread.... -

Sure, but ain't that for JPEG's? JPEG's cannot contain transparency, only TGA, GIF or PNG can, no JPG... I also cannot open a JPG with TexView, I cannot save a JPG with TexView... See my problem? It works problem-free with a JPG (we're currently using a JPG), but I want transparency in it, and that only works with a TGA, but on a TGA-saving Dialogue you don't have these Options (non progressive, zero progressive passes etc.) What Options do I have to set in the TGA-Saving Dialogue to keep the transparent Alpha-Channel in it with Photoshop 6 -

Yes, I know, I already saw it, but it's too vague.... (at least it is for me...) I really love your FAQ! - nothing about which format to save in Photoshop (256*256? 24 or 32bit?) - The TexView-Part is possibly my mistake.... it's something I'm doing wrong, I'm sure... either on the "Alpha-Channel"-Part of Photoshop or on the Texview-stuff... -
Okay folks, I have a Picture, 256*256 Pixel in Photoshop 6. It has an Alpha-Channel for Transparency... But when I save it as *.TGA and open it in TexView 1.1 to save it, upload it onto my webspace, edit my squad.xml, I get an eroormessage: Cannot open /tmp/blahblah/flag.tga Sometimes I get around this errormessage (the no errormessage appears), but then I don't have any Logo's on vehicles.... Help! - Which format do I have to save my picture in Photoshop6 (TGA, 256*256, 24 or 32bit)??? - What next? What do I have to do with TexView 1.1 Save it as *.paa or what? A simple-to-understand Step-by-step-Guide wille be appreciated very much.... Thanks in advance....

Sgt Kabukiman replied to Satchel's topic in ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Satchel, MP is okay, it was the MAP which was not okay! We tested it again on another Map and we can get into vehicles with LOTS of people, no problems! GREAT work, Stachel! -
