Going back on topic.. Now me, coming from the MM2 Community, where 70% of the cars are illegal converts, in which I no way support. As a matter afact, my latest model was built in Zmodeler, which If possible, Ultra is already using to illegaly convert cars, etc into OFP. I think that any vehicle should have a background check and make sure its not stolen. I'm also a modeller, latest model is a 2002 Chevy Express (Ingame - Http://www.madnessonline.com/~diablo/Showoff.jpg) (Render - Http://www.madnessonline.com/~diablo/Ph33r.jpg) Anyways, off my rant, I'm glad sites have expectations, instead of just posting ugly junk (Note - My name is Diablo in MM2/MM1 communities, and my car is no where near completed, as it still needs textures. Polycount sits at 2250)

Easy fix to the muzzle flash problems and numerous other errors, turn off T&L.

FSPilot - Battlefield 1942 has alot of incompatiablities with graphic cards.. As for upgrading XP, if your a diehard OFP fan and thats all you play, go ahead. Some problems I might warn to the diehard HL fans, Windows XP is mad problems with half-life. I cannot host a counter-strike server without crashing, playing with no music on direct3d or software rendering. With and without admin mod. Other then that, It runs well with many games

I looked into it more, an autoexec.cfg may be very possible, if I were to say stick it in the /user/ folder and change the say, reload key to t and see if it works. However, I have yet to uncover the location of the binds. There hidden inside the engine, and seeing as though I'm no real good person to look and sneak around deep in the engine, I require some help :\. Maybe kegetys or someone could give me a hand..

I know what you mean about scripts, etc. All about .cfg files, (or to mIRC scripters, .mrc) or whatever. Ok, basically I'm gonna put it short in half life scripting bind r "+reload" <-- Makes R button in half-life, reload bind - Make the key to do it R - Key that does it +reload - An ingame alias that is created by the devolper to do things Aliases can be made by yourself, for instance, alias +reloadcrouch "+crouch; +reload" Alias - making the alias +reloadcrouch - The name of the alias, plus the + sign, used for when the key is pressed, it will cause the action, and when depressed, will stop. +crouch - To crouch ; - To seperate a command +reload - To reload then you make it bind R "+reloadcrouch" Ok, enough boring stuff To put it straight, the OFP engine is not an open engine. There is no actual console to load things from, etc. Secondly, the OFP commands are much different, although I really haven't looked at them. There maybe something about it, I'll have a look... Point is, you half to create new ones...however, the alias that are defined need to be found, which are probaly hidden in the engine. I'll have a look around for them, see if I can find it. EDIT: Well interesting, I can't find the information yet (Still looking) however, by the way it looks, it works off of defining the commands like #define reload And then makes a sort of class like Class key { reload } or whatever..If i can find where all these are defined, scripting may be possible in OFP. By editing 2 things, the userconfig.cfg file in the /users/ and the file where aliases are defined. Nothing to advanced, but still...

Although I do not know if this was mentioned earlier in the topic, but I shall post it now incase it hasn't. I have an SB Sound Live! Value, I get crackling all the time with the speakers, however, I found a temporary fix. Ingame, switch between 3rd person and 1st person views, it shall fix. Sorry if this was mentioned earlier..

I like HMMWVs, big time lover, Id like to buy one if I had the money. Anyways, I like the Fuchs, probaly my first vote, its just so cool looking. Then Id go for the HMMWV *Druel*

More vehicles...many more vehicles, more to explore and use, enough to keep me busy for a long time, a very long time.

I believe that Independent Lost is a modification being helped, and backed by Bohemia. Now, for landing on ships, you might understand this one. The reason you cannot land on the LST is because it is a SHOW vehicle only, hint the no-fuel. It is not a complete vehicle, the weight is off, as one of the two reasons it bounces. Two, its bounding box is incomplete, which means if you try to land a helicopter on the back bad, half the chopper will go into the boat causing it to jump. In my belief, I believe that the Independance lost boat will actually have the ability to land and walk on it. You can walk on the LST also, for I have done it, but once I walked half way through the helipad, I fell and died...

Actually, you can land on the LST also, but the reason it jumps is because the vehicle is suposedly there for decoration, so it doesn't have a proper weight value, and bounding box, so you cant land directly on the back. I want that Independent lost also, very nice modification indeed.

In my opinion, an osprey would be cool. I mean who wouldn't love taking off on a runway, taking cover in some mountains by just adjusting the rotors with the [,] buttons (You know, the ones with the menu). I love flying aircraft, but there a bloody pain A$$ to land (Coming in from the correct direction to the run way, having the point up when you hit, having to be going really slow) I would just love a helicopter landing technique. Anyways, I want an osprey that can transport vehicles. Now, the major problem I see is that when you turn the rotors back to forward, your not going fast enough and the ground says hello.

But isn't that what admins are suppose to be? Big and scary, you always bow at there feet, treat them like a king. Say one thing wrong and your in trouble. Look at them straight in the eye theres a big black boot in your rear end
