yea i notice when im playing arma 2 my fans are spinning like crazy and my gpu and cpu is extracting alot of heat i can feel it. But still..

windows 7 has been playing fine and much smoother for me than windows xp

I just managed to tone out my AA,Shadows to Normal, Objects Detail to High and i get about 30-45 fps average impressed..

Its been somewhat better, but im still having some freezes and lock ups so i do not know, quite a few people also on the forums are experiencing the same problem, with different specifications aswell.., so i don't know maybe a new patch when it comes out can fix the issue. Until i get my retail copy i will see..

Is it possible my order will be dispatched within max of 7 days? I know you do not have a dispatch date yet but could you give me a rough estimate of when i should see my order dispatched. Hmm if what your saying is true, i believe you, i guess the game the game is such in high demand that its hard to keep up with for 505. Guess alot of the stores are having trouble so im not sure. Guess i will have to wait.. maybe guess its not CDWOW's fault in the end.. but i just hope they can try to dispatch the new stock they recieve as soon as possible i don't want to be waiting more than a week and finding my order is still on pending dispatch

If i wasn't capped and if a digital download was cheaper i could get it. But for me a hard copy has many benefits..compared to a digital download. Yea probably, the 6000+ was a good choice for me. Even though i didn't go quad i was happy enough going Dual from single core.

the 6000+ x2 is a decent cpu and it runs ArmA 2 very well unless you have a good graphics card,a suitable OS like windows 7 64bit, or windows xp 32 or 64bit so not >>Windows Vista<<, decent amount of ram around 2GB+. Im getting good FPS rates with my system, and im more than happy making a wise decision upgrading to the current spec i have here, saved myself tons of $$ while still getting good overall performance.

Yea ive been using it for the past few months, it helps quite a bit :)
