  1. The fact that our country is located in the pacific and the lines are underground and having to stretch all the way around the world. This is why bandwidth and the internet over here is expensive. If we were located in Europe or America the internet prices and plans would'nt be so darn expensive. Also we have the population of about roughly 4,300,000 people. If we had a higher population as well the internet would also be somewhat cheaper because since we are a small country with that kind of population, to the government its not as important. Australia is slightly cheaper than New Zealand cause they have a population of 20mllion.
  2. http://games.on.net/file/27690/ArmA_II_Demo guys im getting max download speed here, and its still running good? maybe try it? better than the gameplanet link
  3. Dude its not his fault that he can't download 3GB man, you know quite a few people are stuck with low bandwidth caps because of the high prices with internet plans they have in their country. Not all countries have such very high speeds and unlimited bandwidth caps..
  4. My mother and i pay $85 NZD a Month for 40GB Max DL/UP Connection which is like $35-40 USD. Thats the best we can get, we can't get any high bandwidth caps or speeds. Doing a speedtext on www.speedtest.net on a local server i get 6.34mbit download and 0.74mbit upload. Internet in NZ is so stupid, its like a few years behind America. Bandwidth is very expensive over here. Its cause we are over here in the pacific and we are such a small country we are stuck with that kind of issue. I can only end up using 10-15gb for myself cause we have to share it around the family..
  5. Thanks tons man! im getting maxnimum speeds at 833kb/s yay! 1 hour to ago!
  6. Thats cause europe, america and japan/south korea have such good connections. bandwidth and speed is cheap there. Australia and New Zealand is'nt because we are located in the pacific, and the lines under the ocean prevent us from having high speeds and make it expensive to have high bandwidth and such. Its not old school for me, i was on dial up for 6 years man, and 2 months ago finally got high speed, and im happy with with the speeds im getting..

  21. lucky you lol , well since im over here in New Zealand the cheapest price i got for my 4850 was $265 NZD which was one of the most cheapest prices i could find over the internet, and thats about $115-120 USD, Everything here is at least 2 and 1/4 times expensive compared to US. But i traded my 9 month old 3850 512mb and got $110 NZD off so ended up paying $140 NZD ( 60-70 USD ).
