    HUNTED This is a standalone mission of my older hunted mission which was originally for TC2 campaign. Due to major time constraints I don't know if I have time to make a campaign and will probably just make singular missions in my spare time. This mission is for an upcoming community mission pack. If people can test it and check it for bugs etc then that would be great. AI seems to perform better in combined ops then ARMA2 standalone. I've been trying to use this command and I am having no luck with it, I may be doing something wrong _jk = backpack _unit _jk backpackspacefor "AK_74" I've also tried magazines You can fit weapons into the backpack, but anyway I can anyone point me in the right direction on how to properly use the command? It depends on the requirements, I generally don't have alot of time but also I am not in a very good recording space as I am in a very small apartment with neighbors until I get back home from overseas. EDIT: If you need something specific let me know and if I can do it I will. I may also have something on my HD already but that's less likely.

First 2 missions are in the final stages, probably only require minor touch ups in spelling etc. Campaign Chapter 1 overview: Chapter campaign intro (90% done) Mission 1 Hunted - beta v0.9 (Last beta release before release in campaign.) Campaign cutscene (85% done just needs voices and a few camera angles.) Mission 2 A New War - beta v0.9 (Last beta release before release in campaign.) Mission 3 - (90% done, just waiting for some voices from Dead Kennedy) Mission 4 - (75% done, requires voices and a bit of variety from the visceral fun) Mission 5 - Have been holding off on this and did a fair bit of work on a few missions for chapter 2 Its been hard to get Russian voice actors, especially since my missions tend to be voice intensive (as in I tend to code in alot of voices), thankfully I got some help from Dead Kennedy and Audio-Studio.ru hope nobody minds me advertising their webpage as I promised I would in exchange for voices. Cheers. Mission 1 - Hunted I released this mission as a beta ages ago, have since added an intro and extended outro also did some small touch ups here and there.     Hey man :) Cheers for the feedback. I've noticed a lot of what you've mentioned there. I really went overboard with Jack's lines. I wanted to make him a wanted ex IRA fugitive who spends his time gun running between Chernarus and Russia so he emphasises but isn't really the emotional type. However yeah I threw way to much stuff into the first mission in order to piece together the hows and why's. I will definately follow your advise on this for future missions. Your absolutely correct about me using the Georgian war analogy. I was actually (at the time) trying to piece together what happened from the Russian perspective and I threw a lot of that into the story. It would have been better to let the player's imagination fill in certain gaps for flexibility. I had actually contemplated making Yrui invincible but decided not to. I just use the domove command on him to try and keep him ahead of the pack to increase his chances of survival. Cheers again for the feedback.

    Hi Stun, I noticed this already and have to update the missions. The error is a result of the new version not accepting the old lip sync files which I had edited. I basically have to redo all the lip files for the two missions. I had the same problem in one of my other missions until I replaced the lip sync files. So just a note to anyone wandering in: PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PLAY THESE MISSIONS WITH THE PATCH 1.54 UNTIL A NEW VERSION UPDATE. SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.

    Ah cheers, that would explain it. I remember the U.S. Army was looking for a new 7.62mm rifle for tactical flexibility or something, so I guess this confirms it. Cheers man.     Thankyou all for the great feedback :) I am actually surprised that the mission is being this well received :) cheers. Just a note: This mission requires ARMA2 + ARMA:OA as I have made the standard issue weapon for U.S. troops to be the M16 series of rifle. Reason being is that I figured financially it may not be viable for mass distribution for the Mk16. Also I heard that the US military has canceled its contract for the MK16 but is retaining the contract for MK17. I am not sure if that's true or not. They have however decided to keep the MK16's that have been distributed to Ranger units and others within circulation. @Marko: Cheers for the profile :)

    STEEL GARDEN A very brief and very simple mission that I made to test out some minor scripts. It was the first one I made for ARMA2 OA. I wanted to make a mission for U.S. forces for a change. Just a note, the ending is somewhat incomplete, you get 60 seconds to walk around base and take a gander at it until a very very basic camera angle of the friendly body count wisks you away. The intensity varies as does your squad's waypoint for the two villages. Your squad may head to Jaza or Loy Manara first before supporting the other squad in the other village if there are still enemies there. There are around 100 units on map. Friendly reinforcements are present but limited, while enemy numbers are fixed. Friendly squads are inserted via Chinhook. The mission is inspired by the first Arma2OA campaign mission. There's no Intro or outro at this point and I am uncertain if I will make this mission longer or not, guess it will depend on demand and time. For now its a small but fun mission. There is some voice acting in the mission but not as much as The Cause / The Cause 2 missions. Enjoy. Hi, I am using the latest patch 1.54 with my installation of both ARMA2 and ARMA2:OA I have several missions that I've been working on since ARMA2 and have had voices implemented that also use lipsync. I have just noticed frequent crashing whenever the "say" command is used in conjunction with a lipsync file in the immediate vicinity of the player. This has not been a problem until the new BAF compatibility patch 1.54. (I do not have the BAF expansion, just the patch.) Thank you. EDIT: Crashes are to desktop. Please let me know if your having similar problems. Cheers.

    Lipsync "say" crash

    Hi man, yeah i did a search but nothing came up lipsync/lip sync specific Im afraid. This is pretty detrimental to my mission building. I might try and get the actual british forces expansion and see if that helps but I'll see if there is another patch coming first.
  25. I get a crash when using lipsync'd voice files ingame via the say command. This seems to happen regularly and has never occured during previous patches. I have not edited anything since the last few patches. This happens for me across my missions for both Takistan and Chernarus.
