Tends to struggle a bit on high in the north of the island, but id imagine any machine would with shadows and AA on too On high with 1600 view distance, does the job 7950GT 512mb

Running on Vista Home Premium here, usually just turn off Indexing (for vistas search engine), the sidebar and switch Aero to Vista Basic scheme, turn off avast and msn and voila smoother than I ever had it running on XP Intel Core 2 Duo 6300 @ 2.1ghz 7950GT 512mb 2.5gb DDR2 RAM (4100/5300) 320gb SATAII Realtek 7.1 onboard Game runs at about 50-60fps with everything on medium/high, get about 10fps if I turn off shadows and another 5-10 if I turn off AA also, vista uses 25% of RAM just running the OS and 2% of CPU

I have no idea what the hell is going on performance wise with my game, currently running 1.0.2 german version and its still got some very strange slowdowns, Sanhari is mostly unplayable in the north due to it. While just playing around in a large forest, game runs at according to fraps 20fps with high settings (shadows on normal, aa on normal) turn off the shadows...no effect, turn off any of the other settings no effect, turn off AA AND shadows and i suddenly get 35fps rising to 60fps occasionally. The strange thing is when AA and Shadows are on, its holds at 30 excatly..no higher or lower, with them off it flucuates all over. However, my system isnt excatly old...so i wish i knew WHY this happened. specs: Intel Core II Duo E6300 (OC'd to 2.4ghz) Nvidia Geforce 7950GT 512mb 1.5gb DDR2 RAM 640mhz Realtek HD 7200RPM Maxtor 320gb SATAII The game runs at 60fps+ in the south of the island and on the other island, its just the trees that lag my game...I havent a clue why

So what if only 4 were ever made they were still there, for missions its nice to sometimes have more nichey addons, at least i find so. 100% more interesting than 200000 million M4 variants anyway :P

Comparing the two I think yours looks better, the darker flame and darker smoke clouds make it look a little better imo. (and, yes i own the game) Will try this out ASAP

Just played on the "Beer Assasins" server, was empty so me and a friend went on it and started a game. About ten minutes later it was full at 21/21 Seems to be alot more stable than OFP was (Tim is me)
