  1. I know this is fairly old (we're talking 2004 here), but it's only recently come to my attention after seeing some screenshots on an OFP mod page that showed a rather familiar model and skin for a Colt 1911 sidearm. The credits for that release thanked "King Homer" for the model and texture and for his HEP from which the models were taken. The HEP readme (as far as I could tell) didn't list any further credits for the 1911 model, which is pretty clearly the work of two other individuals (model by "Iono" and texture by "Wannabe"). I'm hoping this is just a simple misunderstanding, but credit theft is no laughing matter. Any chance I could get a comment on this? (The mod update was from just last month, and the HEP pack download sites I found showed downloads as recently as this month, so it's not a completely dead issue, despite the pack being over two years old.)

What do you *HOPE* will be in ArmA?

That's correct - it's in the current OFP and I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't be omitted. It's one of my favorite aspects of the game. (Oddly enough, I suppose.)

The effect could be a result of a photographer taking the picture from a distance with a high level zoom. (Or they really could be standing a few feet from the targets.)

(Howdy, I'm new here.) One feature of OFP that just filled me with glee every time I experienced it: Speed-of-sound simulation. If someone was firing a supersonic sniper round at you, you'd hear it hit the ground beside you before you heard the report of it being fired. Similarly, if you fired a tank round at a distant target, you'd see the explosion a few moments before you'd hear it. Incidentally, does anyone know if this feature is in OFP:E? The recent videos of Armed Assault seem to imply they've taken this feature out, and that makes me sad, though it could just be the way the trailers were compiled.
