I recently had to reboot my entire computer system because my desktop was completely sabotaged making it impossible to navigate. I have a system restore system on my computer making data recovery from a crash possible. when I recovered my programs, I tried to run OFP once again, and it returns back to the desktop giving me a "Bad serial number" sign. Do I have to reinstall OFP, because I think the recovery system deleted my registrys, so OFP disc thinks I don't have OFP installed?

I installed 2.5, now I cannot even run ffur2006 alone, the patch only contains the RESOURCE file, so I just replaced the original.

I have serious problems. I tried to use ffur2006 with SLX and I cannot run a custom mission from the mission editor without getting an error. I followed all te intructions, I replaced the ffur2006 config.cpp with the SLX's version of ffur2006, and I used -mod=@SLX;ffur2006.

I play the first time on a server and everything goes fine. But when the game is over and the game is going to reset on a different map, I always get kicked off when a message saying that I'm missing a addon called 'editorupdate102'? What is this?

How do you disable the window that constantly pops up on Windows talking about 'sticky keys'. Whenever, I use the Shift key too much it will pop during a online game and it minimizes my entire OFP window, and I cannot maximize again without shuting it down and it fucking ruined my game. I fucking hate Windows for this.

Do Unit replacement mods work on all servers? Or do I have to search for servers that support them?
-
Is the FFUR unit replacement mod accepted on most servers?

I have a copy of the original Flashpoint game, but never had the chance to buy the Resistance expansion. Is it better to wait for the new Armed Assault game to be released(which is close)? Plus, I would need a new computer since my hardware is all dating back all the way to the year 2000. At least Flashpoint works well with it.

When I install a mod like FFUR 2006, can I use that mod for all Multiplayer servers? Will the server reject me for having unwanted files? Some games require you to have the same exact files on your computer of the server - basically a pure server. Does OFP:R only have pure servers? sorry, I just read the "Turning OFP into your favourite game!" thread.

After seeing the latest pics, I think its best to move the release date to Q4 2006. The interface looks mediocre and the animations are equivalent to the old OFP.

After looking at the AA trailer, it looks like Flashpoint with just a updated engine. Nothing special...
-
Just bought it on Ebay for 15 USD(that's with shipping).
-
I have a feeling that BIS is going to delay the release of AA again. At least that's good for me, gives me time to settle with Resistance.
-
What's the average number of players and servers online playing Resistance online? I tried to find servers for the original flashpoint game and there is virtually no servers and no players online. The other thing I fear is once AA is released, everyone will dump Resistance and flock over to AA.

Why not give soldiers and civilians realistic human functions such as eating, drinking, and going to the toilet. instead of islands that look abandoned (unless you add a bunch of civilans in the mission editor), imagine a interactive bar in the building and interactive toilets ect. This is just a though, anyone like to go ultra-realism? another good scenario is where you are trapped behind enemy lines in Bosnia as a NATO soldier and you try to survive in the forest without being captured.

Can someone tell me between the main difference between these two brands. Radeon seems cheaper with the same amount of quality as geforce, but geforce is more expensive. For example: Radeon 9600XT 256MB DDR 8X AGP and a Geforce 6600 256mb 8X AGP. But the Radeon is only 70$ while Geforce is up to 110$.

I have a P4 2.6Ghz, WinXP, Geforce 4 MX(DX7.0/8.0), 512mb RAM, 112GB HDS. I own Flashpoint, and it runs smoothly without any problems. Will AA feature the next generation graphics that require a graphics card at least with a DX 9.0 support( I have only a DX 8.0 software support)? Other games like Half-life 2 feature next generation technology, but amazingly it runs smoothly on my computer dispite having a graphics card that is two years old. But other games like BattleField 2(which I tired to play the demo version) won't even accept my computer. Will AA tolerate 'today's generation computers'? meaning that I will have at least 40-60 Frames per second on screen? Frankly the only real difference between the new graphics cards I see is that they have new realistic water effects, which is not a huge drawback for me.

nice artwork I can see where you used your photoshop skills to paint over the white bands.

If you ever read history you would see that the most powerful armies in the world were not defeated by bigger guns, but by simple things we do everyday. They lost mainly food supply, disease, and cold weather.
-
I do see any posts about toilets or food and eating. The search didn't get anything.
-
They probably won't have any mission editor. It's pretty boring once you finish single player. OFP provides huge abouts of addons unlike other games.
-
Does the default core Frequency make a difference in performance?
-
I haven't played OFP for over a year, so I know Geforce 6600 won't make a difference on it. Geforce 6200 looks like it has only the DX9 shader, is that like the minim. feature that supports DX9? I have other games such as HL-2 and Doom 3. I'm very lucky both of these games work with decent framerates. Don't you think graphics will eventually come to a haul? How far can go once you reach photographic-realism?
-
well, I need a X-mas gift for myself. I'm not planning to buy anything else for x-mas. At least get new card to celebrate the new years too.

If they released it over Steam, then they should have a option of playing single player offline unlike HL-2. You do not need a constant Internet connection to make missions on your mission editor.
