You don't need to uninstall, then reinstall OPF to get rid of FADE. Just delete ALL unofficial addons, then run OPF with only official stuff. Â Now the FADE is gone. Â People always think that they need to uninstall OPF to get rid of FADE. FADE doesn't act like a virus. And unofficial addons always cause problems if there are a lot of them. Â Even if they're named with tags, they can still interfer with other addons or the Config.BIN.<span id='postcolor'> I was not discussing FADE or anything in its liking, this issue is not caused by FADE it is caused by reasons that Kegetys has described to you. I am mearly illustrating a way I have found to make the dissappearing ammo counter be resolved for some systems with the addons in place. Please read and comprehend the material next time.

Looks like a good first person shooter multiplayer, but looks real low on realism.

Ie. Gunslingers Editor Upgrade causes things like this.<span id='postcolor'> Um, it can also be caused by  Kegetys' Object Files addon.      <span id='postcolor'> Aye, of course Kegetys has also posted several times NOT to use the object file addons. Oh there actually is a solution (at least for me and several others) to Gunslingers and many other addons causing the ammo counter to dissappear. 1. Save your addon folder and User folder to another directory 2. Completely uninstall OFP 3. Install base OFP from disk 1.0, 1.2 etc. 4. DO NOT INSTALL PATCHES YET! 5. Move the CONTENTS of your saved addon folder to the new addon folder (DO NOT overwrite any files already there) 6. Move your User folder into main OFP directory and overwrite new one. 7. NOW begin patching up to current OFP version. I have found thru experimentation that on some systems installation of addons after patching can cause the ammo counter to dissappear. The above process may solve this problem for you and allow use of the addon without this annoying bug. But if it doesn't work your last course of action is to remove the unofficial addons. BTW, this thread belongs in Troubleshooting next time eh

</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">Come on, u cant possible mean that a.50 easily is able to kill a tank from 3000 meters!! If that was the case, why do they use LAWS?<span id='postcolor'> Especially considering the max effective range for the M82A1 on material sized targets (vechiles, light armor, equipment) is 1800 meters (1.11 miles). Â Its claimed MOA is 1 with MATCHED .50 caliber ammo which basically doesn't exist in any quantities in military stockpiles. Without matched ammo it becomes very inaccurate for a 'sniper' rifle or rifle period. And against a tank, I don't even think it could penetrate frontal or side armor at point blank range. Â Maybe if some DUP round was made for it, but unlikely.

I say leave, every situation the United States encounters in foreign affairs is damned if you do, damned if you don't. So I would prefer damned if you don't, and save a ****load of tax money while you are at it.

Guess I'll say something so Placebo can move this thread with a free conscious. Hmmmm, how about Mission Editing.

American football is called 'football' because in the begining of the sport all you where allowed to do was use your feet on the ball. Since it was quite a oddly shaped ball to begin with and would go bouncing everywhere players eventually thought 'Forget this" and started picking it up and running with it and throwing it to each other. The name just never was changed.

Kill - Flare in their face. Death - Running over 4 mines placed in the same spot in a T-72 at full speed, the wreakage cleared the town I was heading into.

Is this a brand computer or a self-built? Predicting this will get moved to troubleshooting If you can/willing move the soundcard to another PCI slot and then reboot and check the IRQ, it should change. Keep moving the card around until it is on another less used IRQ. Now if you built this yourself here is a computer assembly tip. Build the computer with video card only installed then install windows and install the video driver after any Mobo drivers that are needed. THEN shutdown and install another card (Sound card) and install its driver, shutdown and repeat process for all expansion cards you will be installing. This usually results in all expansion cards being on their own IRQ, but occasionally there will still result in a double assignment so you will need to move one of the two cards. Also try never to use PCI0, the PCI slot next to the AGP slot, it will almost always result in a shared IRQ between what is in that slot and the AGP card. Hope this helps.

I predict this will be moved to Mission Editing. Now who wants to place bets on if its Placebo or Snake or whatever the other mods gets here first.

That would be impossible for me, as I have never downloaded Gunslinger's addon or any other addon except the object files from Kegetys. Its not like I'm saying its his fault, there may have been a change in v1.4 that has caused this or its something with my installation.
