I use Trackir for IL2 (www.il2sturmovick.com) It is awesome to use and totally replaces a need for a hatswitch when flying. Trackir is a mouse emulator - so, if the game supports mouse look, then Trackir will work. If you can use a mouse to look around when in the helicopter then Trackir should work. Here is what need to do: Use a key that matches the key in the Trackir setup to turn trackir on and off. It's a toggle. ie. I use F12 Within OFP, make sure nothing is using that key - you should be able to then turn trackir on and off at will. Hope that works for you. Also - I'm new to OFP and want to try out flying aircraft - are there any planes to download and try out? Salute! 609IAP_Recon

I agree with Toxic totally...I'm disapointed personally -but ever since I started playing the Ghost Recon demo where I can support 6 people without lag on my DSL....I'll consider my $40 spent for a ok game and put it up by other games (along side just dead games as Sin - ever see anyone play Sin? Then look at Halflife and tell me multiplayer isn't important....either make it for the quick buck (OFP), or with a vision...) My last post on this whole forum, 1.30 didn't do much for me...tired of the game. And the guy who said 'i play only coop with friends.." My friends won't buy the game because the mp sucks.

When we going to get 1.30 that will fix the connecting to a server issues - I don't see anyone hardly playing this game online and I'd like to know before I buy Ghost Recon...

Yeah, I went to play last night - nobody is around. Kinda a bummer, had to go play the Ghost Recon demo and some counterstrike. But, you know, when you don't have a good design and vision you shoot yourself in the foot. That is as true as anything

Cool - where you playing out - i'll join. And your the only one I've ever seen that has posted that they haven't had any problems. Please distinguish between your desire to promote the game vs. the reality of the game itself.

heck, if you can get INTO the game your ahead of 80% of the people here....

They put multiplayer in this game, but didn't have any real thoughts behind it. It's obvious - perhaps we should buy them a copy of counterstrike and gamespy (3d, arcade sucks) - and tell them to study how to make a good online game (who wouldn't want 10,000 people every night playing their game...duh). Well, OFP is a awesome game, just no experience with multiplayer has really reduced the playability of the game - sad..I think personally they should reduce the price since they aren't giving to us all that they market on the box...

Kali, Gamespy, etc... bah - now everyone is spread out all over, makes finding a game even harder...Glad to see that Ghost Recon will use one game search tool (ubi). Too bad OFP didn't have the vision (again) to see this. Why don't they have a in game browser with lobbies to find other gamers!!! @#$@$ - knew i shouldn't have bought this game!

Any status on whether time remaining in game will be in the 1.30 patch?

Yeah, we keep posting it to let others know not to waste their time on even thinking of playing this game online.

play something else - these people can't code a good multiplayer game - garbage. Stick to single player, and play a real online game like CS. What sucks is having to pay for this stuff - no wonder peeps hack games, because there is no accountability to game companies (in this case, to have vision). But, I will say that when I see the next game with CodeMasters on it - I'll be sure to put it back on the shelf and look elsewhere. Sounds bad, but at least put on the box that it is for single player or lan play. Not online play.

Well NaturalBorn - you are a fortunate one - I've never been able to find a server and play yet... I think advertising that you can play online is a marketing scam - piece of crap game imo. Back to CS, a REAL online game.
