Hey CD, why all that trouble of 3 triggers instead of only 1? when I made my first TDM, I surrounded the area I wanted to with 4 or more triggers ( the ammount needed to make a perimiter ) then in each one I set like this Size: ( how much U desire ) ACT: anybody / present / repeated ON ACT: (thislist select 0) setdammage 1 that should do it, so everyone who gets in that trigger falls down dead Good Luck
  6. I was always wondering if this could be done in OFP, but since I found no way I'm, going to post this, maybe someone can help me out. I wanna know if its possible to simulate soldiers rappelling down from a BLACKHAWK ( U know going down with ropes ). Is it possible of not yet invented in OFP? Tnx.
  7. I need to know how to make AI soldiers shoot on TARGET E I tried to make  aP dofire tar_1 ,  in soldier initialization field,  but it didn't work. does anyone know what can I do? Also I would like to know if there's any command I can use in ON ACTIVATION field to make a vehicle or a soldier follow another unit. lets say I have 4 empty M113's I fill them up with 4 INFANTRY SQUADS and make them follow 2 HUMVEE's tnx
  8. I'm making a mission in which the Russians invade a town, and the civilians run for protection in the next town which is guarded by US trroops. Now My problem is, that when I set AI commander I need him to call for radio support when he sees, for example, more then 20 enemy troops. Then I also want him able to make a radio call on a certain waypoint or trigger. What is the command to make him use RADIO ALPHA or BRAVO or ......... and how can I make him detect certain number of enemy? N.B. there will be about 5 enemy squads around. Thanks

    Well, ok then I'll make it with a trrigger, that when they detect enemy the variable becomes true and the waypoint were they wait to be called I'll make it expected. But 1 thing, in MP mode I want the Allies Leader to use radio, now if I use radioo for MP in the Waypoints of the support I need to make ( for example gogo==1 ) , should I make another trigger (like the RADIO ALPHA , in which there's GOGO=1 ,in activation ) as EAST DETECTED by WEST and on Activation I make GOGO=1 ?

    about the FLARE I will check, but about the smoke nade, I have it in my inventory and I can also throw it, but I see NO SMOKE on screen then. b4 I applied the Patch 1.5 or 1.6 smoke was working fine for me, now I donno.

Well thanks for the Help but the problem was another thing, I made : not alive gener ( and not THIS NOT ALIVE GENER ) and objective1 == 1 and objective2 == 1 and objective3 == 1 since at first I had NO briefing, the mission worked fine, then when I made the briefing with the objectives, they got mixed with those OBJECTIVES, all I had to do was changge OBJECTIVE1 {/2/3} into OBJEC1 the not alive gener was working fine. thanks again.
  15. Hello guys ( n Gals ) I encountered a small problem on ending my mission. I made 2 Triggers as extraction points, I mean when U achive all objectives U can head for one of the 2 Extraction points ( Triggers ). Now I made these triggers and they worked at first, but now as I'm adding more to this mission, something went wrong ( mind U I'm only using Default editor with NO addons ), when I start the game I get a Generic Error to both trriggers. The trtiggers are made like this:- size: 50 x 50 angle: 90 activation: WEST [once] [present] time: 0 0 0 type END#1 Name: end ( I tried even without name ) Condition: not alive gener and objective1 == 1 and objective2 == 1 and objective3 == 1 Effects: Text [Well done Mission Accomplished ] I think its defined well , I wonder what the Error is about. gener is the name of the character ,who's the General. Can someone help me in this?

    Well  NEO about the first CODE sample  I tried already with DO TARGET and DO FIRE, and they stood still watching the targets maybe there's a code that makes the target look like ENEMY( I mean like an enemy vehicle ) so they shot on it the second I guess it can't be done cause since every M113 got 10 troops inside, then 1 Humvee cannot control 20 troops then since I got 40 troops in 4 M113's  and 2 Humvees  I can't make JOIN, but maybe FOLLOW.

    but does that line has to be written in a trigger or SQS file? if in TRIGGER does it need something else to work? I mean SQS scripting?

HI again, I am trying to make this mission more in detail, and one thing is that I have 2 TEAMS, they go from different directions to flank out a village, but I am trying to find a command ( which I thought I knew ) that when 1 team has few unnits ( like 4 [out of 10]) it can join the other team, so they can concentrate their attacks. Team A = LION Team B = EAGLE I made a trigger with these commands: Axis a,b = 0 angle = 0 Activation = none repeated type = none Condition = count units LION < 4 On Act = Newgrp=formleader <aP>;[EAGLE] join Newgrp But it seems it does not work, maybe I'm mixing up something, but also I don't get any errors so maybe the script is good. Can someone help me out?

    U mean that in the script U made, the chopper waits till all the units of the team are on the chopper?

    Yeah , well its a battle so casualties will not miss but to test it in the DESERT ISLAND I made a tank with SETDAMMAGE 0 near the other team, so I didn't have to shoot them and so get shot myself BTW this is easy but I cannot remember, how can I get the number of uunits in the other team to display as a HINT on a radio trigger command?
