don t install latest drivers!!!!!!!!!! i did reinstall origin drivers delivered with my sound card and with my video card and now it s ok!!!! last time did install latest drivers and it did crash + crackling sound + missing sounds!!!!! now i just have a little little bit of crackling sounds.. ( i have sound blaster live player 5.1 + GEFORCE 4 ti 4600 128 MB ULTRA TD MYVIVO LEADTEK). :]

thanks dood for the tip :] i m surprised that BIS is doing nothing about it... they seems to be dead about that.... (not responding at all!! in fact i think they just aren t able to do anything!

i saw someone in this troubleshooting section having same problems than me... he did uninstall all drivers and reinstalled them.... did do it with latest drivers.... got GEFORCE 4 TI 4600 128MB ULTRA TD MYVIVO LEADTEK (www.leadtek.com). got the latest drivers for all.. please help :]

did have a problem also maybe like that... i have a IDE and SCSI drive... if the OS system is installed on the SCSI drive OPERATION FLASHPOINT WILL NEVER RUN!! when you have a OS system with a IDE HD you HAVETO install your OS system on the IDE hard disk!!!!!! then you will not have any problem!! did get very angry with that too!!!!! :] hope it help :]

well i don t have a VIA chipset... and i do have a crakling sound effect + sometimes no sound at all or sometimes just no sound when moving with vehicles... i do have also a CRASH REBOOT problem.. did disable the auto reboot feature it said : DXG.SYS problems... check if you have enough disc space.. did let the system handle it will see if it works.. but for the crackling/missing sounds, don t know!! just tried put turbo at 0 will tell you... i got DIRECT X 9 and a soundblaster LIVE! PLAYER5.1 thx for help :] (did watch all the topics about crackling sounds..... hope you have news about that.
