Most of the Ultra-Realistic features will most probably be dropped, knowing the OFP2 community (A younger community than ArmA's), they would have no idea what "Seek", "Top" or "FLTR" mean on the Javelin. (Hell I don't even know) We'll wait and see, Operation Flashpoint : Dragon Rising has failed to convince me just yet with it soldiers who seem to be suffering from dorsalgia. -

1.03 Patch log: - Improved airplane HUD visibility. - Direct analogue throttle and brake for airplanes now available. - Optimization: Reduced frame stutter near map borders. - Sea surface was not rendered in NE area out of map. - Terrain surface was sometimes using wrong parallax map. - Grenade can destroy a building just by impact - Radio echo elimination - Team switch did not work when player died - More flexible configuration of Flares in the config (brightness, size) - Reduced AI detecting slowly moving enemy vehicles by ear. - Prevent killed units reporting who killed them. Bear in mind that this is a WIP patch change log. :bigsmile:

Hey, I know how warfare works but I really have no clue where to start in the Dogs of War mission. In the briefing it said to see a guy named 'Tuck' for intel, he is near you're MHQ. I cannot find him, the only people near my MHQ are Little John and the warlord guy, does anyone know where he could be? Also, when I go into High command, all my slots are filled up by 1-2 man teams, is there a way I can merge teams into a platoon or company? Finally, is there any side missions from Civilians or fellow team mates? Because going around conquering towns gets boring after a while.

Hey all! The British forces mod's objective is to make realistic weapons and infantry for the British armed forces. Here are some screenshots : British Infantry ( Woodland DPM ) These infantry units will be fully customizable using simple script command's in the 'init' field allowing you to have a number of diffrent sections with only actualy having a small number of P3D models in the pbo wich will save HD space and minimize the mod size . These 'Flash Badges' can also be customized to your own spec so that now all clans can be wearing their Badges on their arms . Aswell as this the units also have other custom features such as Cyalume's ( glow sticks ) wich can be attached & removed using the action menu on each unit . Other features such as Respirator's and googles will be available. Being Number 1 & 2 has some benefits and drawbacks : Benefits is that BI can invest more in the next game in the series...if there is one. Drawbacks is there will be more idiots/people who don't know what they're doing. More under 18 gamers in the world than over 18, I'm not saying young people are all TK'ers, you can get some who are willing to cooperate. I got TK'ed by some idiot on a server today, I was injured, he came up to me and shot me square in the face, then started shooting at a friendly helicopter.

Probably one of the best games today....providing all the bugs are fixed. The only thing that is keeping this game from being #1 seller or best rated game is the bugs and the performance issues, fix those and boy the results would be good. -

How about fixing all the damn bugs that are in the game, that's all I want to happen, If there were no bugs the game would be perfect. -
Very short indeed, the first four missions where really good, they needed more missions like Razor two, it required you to go all over the island and use Civilian intelligence to your advantage. I had so much fun playing Razor two, Manhattan was good as well. I have no idea why they put warfare missions into the campaign, more missions like Razor two and Manhattan would have been great!. Also, on the back of the box it says : "Command your troops through a branching campaign full of twists and surprises, talk to soldiers and civilians with the dynamic conversation system" Branching Campaign - What branching campaign?! The only time you had a proper decision to make was when you had to choose between CDF and NAPA after the chopper crash. Talk to soldiers and civilians - In Razor two and Manhattan, there were plenty of troops and civilians, but you could only talk to about 1 in 20 of them!! If every single civilian had that "Target, Location and Weather", then that would be really good.

I think the campaign fixes should take priority, as most new players will go straight into the campaign and seeing the amount of bugs will make them want to be sick over the disk. -
Hey there. When I enter the command menu to order my squad to 'Move There'. I keep on ordering them to halt instead of moving, no matter how many times I keep on pressing the Move There command I get "All, DO NOT MOVE....ALL, HALT.... Is there a way to fix this, as it is hampering my ability to command my squad.

I managed to fix it, the problem was that the no Blur/Bloom mod was interfering with the command menu so every command meant something else, like "Get in Humvee" would turn into "rearm at Humvee". If anyone else is getting this problem and is running the No Blur/Bloom mod, disable the mod. Thank you all for answering.

It's not a issue, I have Vista 32 bit and got about 30 FPS on everything high -
The demo is really good quality for a demo, played the campaign mission about 10 times now and no bugs found, I get a steady FPS of 35 on High/Very High, editor is good and boot camp missions are a lot of fun. One thing which stood out was the AI, they cover fellow team mates while they cross open areas and roads, they are quick and react fast, and they use cover very well, and how well they fought in Urban areas stunned me. Controls are fast and responsive, easy to learn, especially great in a fast-paced fire fight. Generally, I am really impressed and will be getting the boxed version ASAP. Nice Work BIS, from what I've seen already, this could maybe be a candidate for Game of the Year...
