How to get soldiers attack to civilians?

I want that when my player who is a civilian activates trigger, OPFOR (east?) to attack start civilians. I tried putting <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">east setfriend [civilian, 0] to on activation in trigger options, but they don't shoot at me . So gurus tell my how to do this. -
