I tried searching but couldn't find an answer but if it's been answered before please point me to the info. What does the Video Memory options LOW-HIGH-VERYHIGH-DEFAULT equal to in terms of actual memory usage. In other words: How much Video Memory is ARMA II going to try to use if this is set to VERY HIGH? 1meg? 775K? Just looking for a break down of the actual numbers each setting corresponds too. Or is this asking for to much? :)

It seems to be very random. Sometimes you'll have very good air support and sometimes the timing isn't there. I guess it's just like real life. And the scattered troops also seems random. Sometimes after leaving the beach you'll never see anyone again and you'll arrive at the airport as a lone wolf while other times everyone moves as one big group straight to the airport. I noticed something a few times in this mission and I'm wondering if anyone else has seen it: There's a Soldier on the apron of the deck just past the Helicopter that you're going to get on that just falls over sometimes. Sometimes he'll just slide through the deck and disappear and sometimes he just lays there. Has anyone else ever seen this? One other thing: Sometimes after being dropped off at the beach I'll receive a '<number> is down' message and look over and find someone dead on the beach. I've always thought that the helicopter hits the guy when it's taking off but I'm not really sure. Has anyone ever had someone die on the beach like that?

Complaints about DOF/Blur/Bloom/HDR/Cholesterol etc.etc.

LOL :laugh: That cracked me up. As far as the Bloom it is way over done even with the post-processing turned to low. What gets me is that in the very 1st scene of the campaign, on the carrier , right there in front of you are 3 glaring examples of this over done bloom effect. The two crew members with reflective patches on on the back of their helmet/uniforms and the radar dome up by the speaker are just ridiculous. How anyone can look at that and think it looks natural is beyond me. Other than that I'm absolutely loving this game. For some reason the firefights just feel more natural than Arma 1. -

I also waited over 24hrs and also never received anything other than an automated responses to emails. When I finally did receive my cd-key there was an english message explaining that they we're fallen behind in sending out the keys since the demand was more than they had anticipated. -

Does postFX=0 in ArmA2.cfg turn off post-processing? Does anyone know what the setting HDRPrecision do? Skeptic is right about the Fillrate problem. I had Fillrate set to 100% in game and the Render size was still set larger than my desktop resolution inf ArmA2.cfg. I had to manually set it to equal my desktop resolution. -
Is it enough to just add the dbe1 folder to the mod switch in the shortcut or are there files that also need to be copied? Any help would be appreciated!

I have ARMA Gold and ran the installer for the latest 1.12 Beta patch. Royal Flush isn't listed in the Campaign selection screen. I noticed the beta shortcut only mentions the beta folder but not dbe1..... Is there something special that has to be done to get the beta to work with ARMA Gold correctly?

I just bought ARMA Gold and both my v1.08 and the v1.09B only have LOW-HIGH-VERY HIGH as options for Postprocessing. Should I have an OFF as well? I've never liked Depth of Field. Your eyes focus very fast while looking around and I've never seen a need to simulate what isn't there.

That worked marcomio. Thank You Sir! Here is another problem I have with the new 1.0 Libya Island. I would appreciate it if someone could point out what I may have setup wrong: After I end a mission either by dieing or aborting I go back to the Main Menu but the mission itself continues to play in the background behind the menu. In other words instead of the normal cut scene playing behind the menu selections the mission I was just playing continues to play out in the background. And as I move the mouse to select 'campaign' or 'mission' my character (if i was still alive) pans left and right and when I select a menu item by pressing left mouse button I fire my weapon...... This only happens after a Libya Island mission. Does anyone have any ideas what I have set up wrong? ***EDIT*** Never mind I finally realized I had the DMA_Libya_Anim folder in the OperationFlashpoint\addons folder rather than in OperationFlashpoint\RES\addons. Thanks again for everyones help. Much Appreciated!

Hi I did look there but it only has the add ons needed for the Island itself not the included missions. Sanctuary pointed out where I could find them so I have it up and running. Thanks for the reply!

Got it. Thank You! I just noticed I have the Beta 1 Libya Island (libya_256.pbo). I see a newer version 1.0 (DMA_libya.pbo) Is it OK to update to the latest or will that break everything? Also, Every once in a while I get a missing script error. It's looking for script called cure_lag(?). I just click ok to get past the error and everything seems to be ok afterwards. Any ideas where I should look for that script in the mod directory? Nevermind I just tried updating the Island to 1.0 and it did break the missions. They are still looking for things in the beta libya_256.pbo. I guess the missions would have to be updated for them to work with 1.0 rather than the Beta that they were released with. I'm still wondering if I should look for the missing script it complains about every once in a while.

Hi I was looking for the add on packs for the missions that come with DMA LYBIA island. I think I posted my request in the wrong place. It's posted < HERE > and I think I should have posted it in this thread. Could someone please point me to where I might find these 2 vehicle/unit packs?
