Hey MetalG, Thanks for the positive feedback! Â When we set out create this island, time was really spent on researching the area and then making vegetation that is a very close representation of the actual. Â Since a very well known battle occured in this river valley, more pics/research are/were available. I am glad you enjoy it! Â I am already into the next version/update that I hope to release in the upcoming future! Â I (we) have a few additional islands that are works in progress that I think you will really enjoy. No skippy, I was hoping to get some feedback/insight/basis for why he thought the weapon accuracy was in accurate... I realize they are HD mags, I config'd them!   Â

Hey, thats not fair Savage, I am using one of those bad boys in IDV! Â Â To second the Sgt., so many ideas are on the books, we just need to get them done. Â The more people to help, the merrier, the workload is not getting any smaller.... Our priorities are playability and realism... Â Each of us have a book collection that could probably fill a 6 foot bookcase by themselves... Â So when we draw something up, create, whatever, it is typically drawn from the bank of knowledge each of us can contribute. Â I am just glad that people are noticing our ability to bring things to life...

The M3A1 "Grease Gun" and M1A1 Thompson have been withheld from this latest release. Â We thought it would be best to issue it when we release our Special Forces units. Â Which are slated to be released with the FULL Mod coming in the future. I agree with you, ripping off .45 ACPs on full automatic is quite a trip... Hope this helps!

You sound like you have more than enough juice to run it well. My OFP Settings 1024x768x16 60hz Refresh Rate Bright - 1.2 Gamma - 1.6 Frame Rate - 10.2 Visual Quality - 6.18 Visibility - 802 HW T&L - Enabled Multitexturing - Enabled W-Buffer - Enabled Obj Shadow - Disabled (or Enabled) Vehicle Shadow - Enabled Cloudlets - Enabled Blood - Enabled Normal Detail This appears to work very well for me. Â Open to listening to someone though that can refine these settings even more...

Yeah, but then you do not get that cool map of the Ia Drang Valley inside the building... The maps inside of the building will be in Russian then if memory serves...
