    Did you try to place empty PedagneMOD's choppers in the editor? It could be a problem related to pilots... For example i had some issues with the previous version of the SH-3D: the only way i had to solve the problem and play was to remove all weapons from the chopper...

    Thanks ruff...i'll check it out Thanks wipman! (I'm just downloading your m4 pack...it looks great!!! ) Guys i have a couple of questions... I'm workin' on the Gill Spike AT missile launcher and i'd like to see the missile inside the launch tube before firing...then the tube should be empty after the launch...what i have to do? 2nd: i have a big problem with optics...in night missions i see them darkened and i don't understand why. Some time ago i posted the same question and Agent Smith said i had to make the optics .p3d from scratch 'cause the problem was due to ODOL Explorer, which probably damaged the file i was workin on. I tried to make everything from scratch but still i see darkened optics (even the red dot taken from the xms appears darkened) and it's impossible to aim correctly in night missions!     Thanks... Guys, klavan found an enormous bug ( ) on the weapons: it's impossible to hear the reloading sound in Minimi, M4 and MSG-90. The problem is simple to solve...you just have to replace the .wav extension with the .wss one, in the reloading sound specified in the config.cpp of the weapons. I made a little mistake...i encoded all wav sounds to wss ad changed config.cpp only in prph_ammomags (that's why you hear the firing sound). I'm sorry for the problem...

    Hi guys, I'm a newbie in cam scripting and i made a short intro i'd like to use in a MP mission i'm workin' on. I watch the intro without problems when i load the mission as a single player but, when loading in MP, the game skips the intro and jumps directly to the briefing phase. Is there a way to avoid to skip the intro when i play the mission in MP? Thanks!

    I knew this total conversion but never tried...a couple of days ago i installed it and, after solving the infamous .p3d problem, i played some missions...and now i restarted to play all the three main campaigns! This conversion is fantastic!!! It seems a new game and now i don't need to buy VBS1 or dreaming about it! This Y2K3 rules! ;) Thank you very much Pappy for your amazing work!

    Yeah, i used ODOL Explorer to modify the original BIS optika_XMS! Finally a solution! I've just released 5 minutes ago the update of my old Beretta SC-70/90...I have to release another version now i know how these damn optics work! I got stuck on this trouble even on another project i'm working on..you saved my life Agent Smith! Thank you very much!

    Hello guys, i've searched the entire forum but i didn't find a solution for my problem. I hope i'm writing in the right part of the forum, since the problem i have isn't related to oxygen. Anyway I read in "Addons&Mods: Discussion" forum that this is the place to post technical issues. I'm updating a rifle I made some time ago, the Beretta SC-70/90, and i would like to create my own Aimpoint sight instead of using the standard one (XMS). Everything works fine when using this sight during the day but, when i try it in night missions i don't see correctly the red dot. The dot is not red but dark grey...obviously it's impossible to aim. Since i just have a little experience with optics, there's anything i need to know to solve this? Any suggestions before i get an hammer and start to destroy my computer? Thanks...

    I have the same problem...Often OFP crashes to desktop when loading Y2k3 missions and i believe it is 'caused by those P3Ds... LooseKannon, can you post here the solution if you find it? Thanks!

    I've found it, you're right...it's in Vertex Properties. I tried to apply the shiny option both to the aimpoint structure texture and to the red dot but nothing happens...i tried even the "Full light" option but i receive the same result... I'm modifying the original optika_XMS file...i just changed the texture around of the scope but the red dot is the same! That's why i don't understand why it doesn't work... Anyway thank you for your help Lizard...

    About the scale i totally agree with Miles...if reduced it would look weird without any doubt... I'm really really happy to hear you like it guys! A great satisfaction! Thank you for all these compliments! Anyway i don't want to keep'em all for me. Without the time Lupus spent on checking and fixing all the five models, answering my questions and helping me with his suggestions, support, patience and kindness, this addon would be probably lower in quality! Thanks again pal!

    After two weeks (yeah, i know i promised to fix the addon in a short time... ), it's time to release the updated version of the addon. Here's a list of what i've done: Bug fixes: - sound problems fixed; - textured sidedoor rims; - wav files converted to wss; - tga and gif files deleted; - furthest LOD retextured; - rotors now rotate in the correct direction; New features: - new M2 sound; - Lupus made a new engine block; - clan logo and clan sign restored; - added Lupus materials; As you read Lupus made a new engine block...it really improves helicopter look and makes the model more similar to the real Huey. Lupus helped me a lot again with this update...thank you mate! Here's a screenshot of the new model: As always you can download the updated addon from my site, until i get a mirror Hey, now i wanna see some missions with this bird! Ciao ciao!

    Just a little update: - added clan sign (thanks to Sniperwolf572) - fixed furthest LOD - fixed rotors (thanks to ThunderBlunderQ8 and Lupus) - changed M2 sound As i said yesterday, King Homer sent me a fantastic M2 sound, anyway i tried to use it on the helo but it doesn't sound "metallic" as it should be. I found and reworked another sound: it is very similar to the one produced by an HMMWV mounted M2 i saw in a video...i hope you'll like it... Tomorrow i'll change the engine block: Lupus did a great job reworking the original one, so I just have to scale it and fit some details...now the helo seems quite more realistic (Lupus for president! ) That will be the last change i'll make on the addon, then it'll be ready for the update release!

    Thank you for your help guys! Well... i just have to fix rotor direction, add clan_sign, retexture some parts of the furthest LOD and change the M2 sound ( King Homer really saved my life...he found a fantastic M2 sound for my helo! Thanks! ). The other bugs you noticed have been already corrected. I'm pretty busy in these days but i hope to get those bugs fixed as soon as possible!

    TheMarshal is working on some very interesting scripts...Unfortunately he lost all his data and that project will be delayed 'cause he has to start from scratch. So let me understand... is there a way to improve AI skills without changing the config.cpp? It would be great 'cause i have no idea on how to tweak the config! About the sound: do you guys believe the old 1.0 M2 sound was better than the 1.1 one? Sincerely i'm not satisfied by the new sound and If you like the old one and believe it's more realistic, just tell me 'cause i can restore it. @ThudBlunderQ8: oh man! I thought it was the right rotating direction...So, let's make an example to understand better: i'm looking to the left side of the helicopter, what's the direction of main rotor and tail rotor?
