I would like to point out to the gentlemen, that it depends on what you call action. COD is a fine game, that throws pre-scripted forces at you all the time. That is to say that gunner will always be in that bunker, the man on the second door will aways be at the second door each time you try. OFP is a lot different. The AI can be scripted in such a manner that it will suprise, outflank you, and use such team tactics you could swear is was a person and not a machine playing. That doesn't mean it is perfect. I think anyone that has read or contributed to this forum would agree. Sometimes troops will walk through a building, or even shoot throught it. But with all things consider it is the best FPS or Sim, depending on how you use it. You on not limited to a tiny little box area to playing, you have a few Kilometers. It allows you to play on a large and different types of terrain. Second it is one of the few games that has allowed a community to develop a VAST array of addon, supplements and other type of programing that has extended the life of the game well past most games. I can truly said I got my money's worth and then some. I would ask you to look at the help these forums give out to newbies and oldies alike. You simply don't see that much anymore. This game will allow you to import or produce not only a map, but entire campaigns if you so desire. I and many others do hope that some changes are made and the next edition is better than the last. But I don't want them to change to the point the game play is lot. That is turns into a Doom, Quake or COD type of game. I do want good graphics, but not at the sacrifice of gameplay. I still want to use the multitude of addons and scripting that has been developed. I still want to see the same level of cooperation between the company, addon makers, mission maker and players as we have today.

Alas, I lack the equipment, tools, skill and the experience. Â And therefore no way I could aproach the level or quality of the works of Messiah, Rockape of RKSL or anyone else for that matter. Â Â I was simply pointing out a possiblity that may suit the community and generate encouragment for the individuals dicussing this possiblity and a I do for any addon maker. Â I'm sorry I express such a viewpoint.

The German army has a most ingenus bridging system. They are like vehicles that convert to a boat of sorts. Does anyone here know what I am talking about, I saw it on TV. It was really neat! Maybe the BW Mod guys know what I am talking about.

My opinion is this, "Built it and they will come!" Â If both Pontoon and Folding bridges are built then, maybe the map makers will build maps with more of this type of terrian it.

I certainly don't what to start any argument, I would just like to know the status of the UKF armor pack. I know it had been put on hold, and the UKF web site, to my understanding is not current or up to date. Is there any progress on it now?

Jag, In regards to an OPFOR "C-130" the was an incomplete addon available to anyone to finish, I believe it was the AN-12 "Cub" I believe it is located here (BDM and AN12 Addon), it's title is "BMD and AN12 unfinish" and I believe it was started by the "Bloodydays Mod" crew. Â Unfortunately, I am unable to post a more accurate link. Â As a suggestion, would it be possible to use Roundel Collection to change countries and such?

Geeze...I wasn't demanding, I was asking a question. Â There is a big difference and though you may know who is working on a AN-12, I don't. I only know of the one that was unfinished and open to anyone to do so. Â As far as the dropscript goes, it used to work in the older Condor version but this script (addon) is picky for some reason and does not work in every plane such as the update C-130s. Â It's rude to bite someone's head off just for asking about some information.

Outstanding! Now if we could get the C-5 updated along with the AN-12 we would have the major Air Tranport Covered. I have to see if she will work with that "Dropcrate" Addon. Thanks for your time in developing another great addon! We not need to get a AN-12 up to speed for tactical drops and resupply. Any Takers?

I was over at http://ofp.gamezone.cz and saw a Unfinished AN-12, which would go great with the C-130. Can anyone finish it? Could it incorporate the Hawke C-130 Scripts and be used with the "Dropcrate" Addon? Thanks for your time.

I know at least one addon maker was working on the UAV. I think it was RKSL. Any news?

I would like to know the status of the UAV.

Currently it is up to each individual country as the world does not have policing force, hence the failing of that orgainizaiton established at the end of the Napoleanic Wars (sorry I can't remember the name), the League of Nations, and the United Nations.

I usually don't get involved in these things but I am getting tired of the US bashing. Just because the many countries in the world care not to get involved in the mid-east doesn't mean someone shouldn't. If the American and British intelligence was wrong regarding the weapons of mass destruction doesn't mean that Iraq wasn't actively seeking such devices. Let me remind you Iraq had exhibited the will to assault anyone at anytime they wished. I wouldn't doubt the fact they did have some of these weapons, admittedly in a small quantity. They have plenty of time to move them or ship them off to Iran, Syria, or any other like thinking nation or terrorist group. The USA invasion was announced will ahead of time. Remember those missiles they didn't but did have, Sadamm was an expert at stalling. I believe the US will not doubt maintain its position on the seas and I believe even Great Britain is expanding its navy as well. This Swiss gentlemen needs to understand the economics of warfare goes beyond the sum of a balance sheet. Most American weapons are designed to operate with the fewest personnel possible, provide the sufficient wounding power VS killing individuals outright (wounded individuals require more care and are a larger drain), there are other factors such as their Air Force is second to none and can be refueled in-flight, the American communication, electronic, photograph and radar is far superior. Unless I am mistaken their warfare plans revolve around a total force effort. Lastly, hindsight is 20/20, that is to say it is easy to point out mistakes after it is over. It is quite another to be in the hot seat when the pressure is on. If the United States returned to a strict isolation policy as it had in the early 1900's, the world in my opinion would be worse off. Maybe the rest of us (the world regardless of faith and ideology) should finally get together and do something besides complaining about the efforts of others. As I recall the Americans have always provided aid to others in disasters, when has the world come to the aid of the United States? I believe their education system is different from many European countries, that don’t mean it is inadequate and I sure it could use some improvement. But how can one develop advance technology without producing a few bright people? So they must be doing something right. We are all proud of our countries, I think the americans should be allowed to be proud of thiers.

I was wonder if any had the C-5 Galaxy Addon. The appears to have been one made by Hawk. But I cannot find it, and the C-17 Globemaster is not yet prefected. Does anyone know if that addon is still being worked on? Thanks in advance.
