    Thanks to all! At least I can stay in contact with the community cause of my pc at work!! No didn't send the Mirage to anyone ... started just two days ago with the modeling! To bad I don't have an insurance, but life goes on! Hopefully Santa Clause brings me a new PC Greetings Punkrocker

    sorry guys, but there will be no further versions of any of my addons, cause yesterday my house got broken into and my pc was stolen! So all Addons and stuff are lost! Also my ArmA CD was stolen! Due to the fact, that I don`t have the mone for a new PC at the monemt, there will be no further work of me for the next few months! sorry guys! Greetings Punkrocker

  4. Hi there! Just wanted to ask if anyone would like to help me starting a Navy Mod for ArmA. I just started to work on the "Mirage Class Patrol Boat" (Mirage Info). I can do the modeling, but what I can't do is the scripting and all these stuff. I'm also not firm with the new textures used in ArmA. So I'd need someone to help me out with this. My plans for future projects: - Mirage Class Patrol - Ivan Rogov Landing Ship - bringing the Pauk to ArmA So if anyone want's to help me, please PM me! Greetings Punkrocker

    Mods/Addon Ideas

    For me I'll try to get the Pauk into ArmA. Cause OFP was mostly based on land or air battles so I`ll try to change that. Hopefully I`ll get how to do all that scripting and config stuff (or can anyone help me??). I`d say that in general there should be more ships in ArmA than there were in OFP. Perhaps it`s also possible to get working submarines and stuff .... but we`ll see! Greetings!

    These are all quite good ideas!! But for the moment I´ll concentrate on finishing all the modeling and skinning work (inside, because the outside is already finished ) But after finishing the whole modeling stuff I´ll give each of your ideas a chance and then we`ll see what can be done and what can`t (engine limitations, performance, balance etc.) .....

    Thanks Gnat!! If you compare the naval units in ofp with the rest it becomes obvious that not many addon-makers care about ofp-navy!!! The problem is that i can do the model and the textures, but when it comes to config or scripts i´m totally lost!!! so i´ll devinitely need help with scripts and config, especially if i want to to this multiple weapons stuff!!!
  11. Hi there! Tried to convert Vit`s random numbers-script to be used on my Pauk-addon (for testing only)!! But i don`t know how to do it correctly!! Can anyone please tell me how to fix my problem!?! This is the Pauk config: and i think that this is the part of Vit`s config that`s missing to make the script work but i don`t know how to rewrite the cfgmodels to match my config!! Please help!!!

    I also thought about the number changeable, but i don`t have any experience in doing scripts or configs, so for now I´m just looking to get the model and the textures done, but if anyone can tell me how to do such a script it`ll be a pleasure for me to add changeable numbers!! with the flag there`s just the problem that i did the russian flag also on the hull so changeable flags won`t happen!! Multiple weapon positions are a nice thing, but I fear that the performance might go down extremely because of the details (4770 vertices) the ship already has. But after all the work is done why not give it a chance if the fps are not suffering to much! The only thing that would be great to have is a AA-launcher, so that you can use the Pauk for land, sea and air targets!!

    thanks!! But there`s still the problem that the model doesn`t work with HW T&L which will be a big problem for those who want to use the Dxdll reflections ... so i`ll have to to some bug-fixing
  15. Hi there!!! Perhaps some of you will remember this old lady! So I tried to bring the Pauk up to date!! Here are some pics: The pictures were taken with Res 1.96, FFUR 2006; Dxdll and Direct 3D because for some reasons HW T&L doesn`t work and causes the game to crash!! So what do you think?? I don`t plan to do that multiple weapon-systems stuff again!! But who knows!! P.S. Sorry for my bad english!!
