Wouldn't labors (A la Patlabor) be a more realistic choice for a military simulation? The MS from Gundam (Bar 8th team) had more of a flashy, unrealistic feel. Also, I seem to recall that OPSciFi had some kind of working AT-ST in production... what happened?

Because the engine is so busy handling the soldiers your shooting at, the 100km squared island you're on, the textures of the sky and the individual drops, that if the game put one more interesting but completely useless feature in the game, your piddly computer would overheat and explode. Which, might I add, wouldn't be that bad of a strategy if BIS made PCs...
