can anyone help me?

Hi, I've got the GOTY edition, and updated to 1.91. When I want to create a multiplayer game in the Original 1.46 version, the screen will flicker to the 'creating server' loading thing with the black background, and then just go back to the screen where it searches for a game on a LAN network. But I don't want to create a LAN game, I want to create and Internet game. Can anyone please help me? I have searched the forums and look through the FAQ but I can't seem to find anything that relates to my problem. Thanks in advance!!

Go into your Flashpoint preferances and increase the memory the game is allowed to use. I have 512Mb DDR Ram but I set the memory to 1024Mb. That helped me, try it and see. Goodluck

Well, I've completely deleted all my addons and installed again, so far so good so yeah, lets just say im using an addon manager from now on

Ok, This thread is continueing on from my last... I've deleted all of my addons, and updated absolutely everything possible that can be updated, yet it still crashes. Then it dawned on me What about CPU temperature? Well, no, I ran a few diagnostic programs and CPU, RAM, MOTHERBOARD, and any running programs where running fine with no problems. Which brings me back to the question? Why is it crashing? I've no idea whatsoever. I noticed in another post 'Suma' said that alot of crashes and freezes came from hacked .exe's of the game. Which is understandable, but mines is all legit, I should still even have the receipt. So, if anyone think of anything else, gimmie a shout please [email protected] <---my Msn Ta.

Well, what about the 'unhacked' versions like mine? Random crashes still happen in mulitplayer. I've updated all my drivers including motherboard, taken out pretty much all of my addons yet still it crashes? Any ideas?

Hi In response to this I also have the same problem with random crashing in MP games. I have only about 700Mb addons, but very few and probably none that I know of are used when playing the Battlefield maps online which is the only map I play. How do the addons use memory when not in use? Specs are; ATI Radeon 7500 512DDR RAM 80G HDD (only 30G in use) **All with updated and the latest drivers** The only thing I have'nt updated is the motherboard drivers, which I'll do right now infact. But if there is any other explaination about the random crashes im desperate to know.
