Well, we have Most Wanted Choppers, so I think this fits nicely. I for one, would like to see: CC-144 Challenger CF-18A and -18B Hornet CT-133 Silver Star F-16 Fighting Falcon (for v1.46)

Then they see Iraqi positions about 100 metres in front of them, and our highly experienced operative stands in the middle of the road and says 'contact front' in his radio. In the ten seconds they were standing there the Iraqi guys saw them and opened fire. Well he yelled something obviuos like "they're shooting at us" as he ran around a bit and then jumped into cover. The reporter and Camera man also jumped down with them. "It's been 2 hours now, and the American special forces are trying to call in air support on the what we now know to be as a MG position." said the reporter in a slighty monotone voice. Also a 60 year old reporter in a helly hansen coat was reporting from no mans land and he spotted Americans special forces in a LUP "being covert before the assault begins" were his words. Thank god no Iraq sixty year old in a helly hansen coat was there!<span id='postcolor'> I honestly can't see any trained solider of a modern military acting like that, much less a special Forces agent of the most Advanced Military on earth. Not doubting that you saw it, just doubting heavily that it is what you claim to be.

Wars by U.N. Charter membver nations are illegal without consent of the U.N. Security Council. This mean, to my knowledge, every single war foguht during the Cold War was illegal. Now, here's an interesting thought; what if France pulls a Soviet Russia and just auto-vetos anything proposed in the Security Council by the U.S. or U.K.? Highly unlikely, but all thkis talk of legality got me considering the possibilities.

Larger ai engagement range pack
PFC Mongoose replied to JJonth Cheeky Monkey's topic in ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Sounds interesting... but I suck heavily at OFP, so I think I'll stay away from this pack. As it is, I'll engage a distant enemy with my m16, and spray burst after burst, and he'll almost always kill me with one shot. -

I've actually been working on a mission using the units from the mini-demo, the bunker pack, a .30 cal that I don't know WERE I got (probably either you guys or WW2EC, though almost all their stuff is Resistance) and Rebuilt Kojugev... however, I have to tone down the number of rifle Grenadiers the Germans have, the hilliness of Koljugev makes them excrutiaginly lethal. It's really just for my own enjoyment, though. I might send it to SFG, and if he likes it, he can put it up, or something.

Many people aren't satisfied with the official gear, and want to try and improve on it. Chinooks with official Army marking, Blackhawks with more proper loadouts, and scripts to make the rotos kick up dust, m16s that sound like they're supposed to. Some aren't happy with the weapons as far as damage goes, and are working on a standard for realistic damage (so you don't get some tanks that are far more powerful than roughtly equivalent tanks, etc) I have no military experience, so the official stuff is good enough for me, for the most part, but it;;s admirable that people want to improve the game. As for your suggestions, there is a Fulcrum, an F117, an E-3 AWACS, Intruders are on the way, and ;people are working on an entire WW2 mod worth of stuff. Just most of that stuff you need the Resistance expansion for. -
Okay. I have a town East is defending. Encompassing the entire town, and the space around it, is a trigger, set to 'West Present, Once' and On Activation, sets </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">A1 = true<span id='postcolor'> Now, I have a bunch of soldiers, who each have aMove waypoint, then Get In waypoints for different stationary defences. The Get In waypoints are all set to empty defences and empty stationary tanks, and the Condition for all of the to activate is A1. The problem is, the never go to their second waypoint. A1 never becomes active, even when West swarms into the town and starts mowing down the defenders, becayse they aren't in the defences to give themselves a chance. What's going on? What am I missing? I know it's something minor, but it just makes no sense! I tried changing to 'Get In' waypoints to 'Move' weaypoints with </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">This getingunner [insertvehiclenamehere]<span id='postcolor'> and yes, all the vehicles are named, but the problem seems to be, even when West are Present in the town, A1 doesn't become true. Would be strange if you sneak into the town and them rushing for their tanks before a single soldier has spotted you Hope this helps, Cheers<span id='postcolor'> If it was a stealth mission, that what I would havve done. But the stealth missions are why I could never finish the campaigns (I've read walkthroughs, read tips and strategies, and attempted Interdiction dozens upon dozens of times. I'll never beat it. ), so all my missions are about force-on-force. In this case, an American Armored unit is trying to push through three fortified cities, you have a squad of Abrams, three squads of mechanized infantry, and three squads of infantry in trucks. The idea is they hear you coming. I can get around the trigger business to soem degree by starting the defenders inside the weapons, but then you lose those fun few seconds of driving into the town, and seeing Soviets scrambling left and right for the defences, before peppering you with fire. Also, as you drive past certain intersections, small squads of Soviets are supposed to 'hear you', jump in empty vehicles and follow you, thus adding some difficulty (flanking). But, again, they never actually get in the vehicles, so, I dunno. Well, I'll try the A1 = false, then I'll try syncronizing, then, if that doesn't work, I dunno. Myaybe my compy of thee game is messed up. -

I think if the jeep is empty, you'll have fewer problems You might have to carry in, and set down the jeep empty, then load it, or load it once it is out of the plane. You may have to carry it in with a scripted winch, or soemthing, though... I'm not certain. -

I've read tutorials, but I guess I'm a bit of a slow learner, because it seems I don't retain most of the information they present. Â I'll try this, though. Edit: Well, know I know that indeed, the A1 trigger is activating, but, the soldiers still aren't manning the defences. OK, IRL, I've never fired a firearm, I know very little about military hardware, and I didn't really start getting interested untill I started getting aquainted with Tom Clancy and OFP. Now, I know there are some sites that will have all the facts, and don't mind reading through them, but I thought I'd ask you guys: What's the difference between the XMS, the M4 and the CAR-15? Aren't they all m16 carbines? I know there must be differences, I just have no idea what they are. Same with the AKs. -47, -47 CZ, -74, 101.... different rates of fire? Different clips? Different ammo? It's just been bugging me lately, and I thought I would ask the experts.
