Hey folks, long time no see. Does anyone have a copy of the single player conversion of the Operation Sweet Tooth co-op I did. Reliving the past, but can't find it anywhere on backup. If someone could dig out a copy, it'd be much appreciated. cheers.

Thank you Peeps Recently got me a new gfx card, so can finally play with all the sexeh new stuff like Kegs stomping Hisky n DxDll. A perfect interim gfx update. vwp that man! Right then, off to hunt me down some terrorist scum, "Tango Down!"

Any1 know where I can find Resistance Terrorists by David Berka. I want to play Davidian again, and everywhere links OFPECS downed Addon section, can't find it on any of the other OFP sites I have bookmarked either. Cheers.

Ok, specs bit first: P4 1.5Ghz on Asus 266Mobo 384DDR GF2ti 64Mb + Soundblaster Live. Not a monster system, but it aint gonna be seeing an upgrade anytime in the near future. What gets me is that it manages to run plenty of other new and current games at high levels of detail with plenty of effects and very few problems ( BF42, UT2K3 ). Yet Ive never managed in all these years to get a nice smooth OFP set up. I've read plenty of threads, tried all the tips and still got issues, only if I turn the graphics down, and I mean RIGHT down ( Doom era type graphics ) does it manage to give an approximation of a stable performance. So what is it in OFP that kills my machine like no other game? What affects what? What is CPU related, RAM related, Card related etc? Are vehicle shadows more draining than object shadows? Is a bigger viewdistance worse than high textures? HW Sound seems to make little difference. On or Off? I've fiddled with every setting and slider in the game, and just cant find a balance that keeps things looking ok and still playable. I guess Im just sick of my buddy pointing out that Desert Combat for BF42 ( only got it installed cause he demands to play it whenever he comes round... ) looks 10x better graphically and runs smooth as silk on my system, even on a full server with all-out action. Is there a monster settings tutorial out there? Where is the huge in-depth config tutorial most games have somewhere on the 'net? Why cant I have my cake and eat it!

Thanks for the great tips Sanctuary. I downgraded the drivers and things are definitely much better ( shame on Nvidia, the difference between the 53.04's I was running and the 40.72's I rolled back to was very noticeable ). And im not bothered about the newer games, as I barely play them ( the only other game I really play is Quake3, and I know so much about config tweaking there I could squeeze 125fps out of a Rubber Key Spectrum 48 ) Sticking with 1024 tho, and keeping multitextures, but with Acecombats tips and that great tip on the drivers and shadows off ( its a shame we dont have a simple blob shadow option in OFP ... BIS? ) I'm certainly getting close to a smoother ride. Cheers!

Terrain detail is at low, as are most other settings tbh. But it still bugs me that I can play 1 game with 20+ high detail vehicles blasting hell outta each other, and in OFP anything more than a tank and bmp and its slowdown city. @Gordy, yeah I know I need an upgrade, especially with Doom3 coming, but cash flow issues dictate I gotta wait... Â Terrain - Low ViewDist - 900 All tex - 128 or lower Obj shadows - off Veh shadows - off Tried Acecombats tut on flashpoint.org, which helped a little but not much. I just dont understand why this game performs so poorly on my machine compared to other games.

So is this one of those Supernatural missions? Am I going to be fighting off Zombies ... again? Only got as far as being captured after the attack on the convoy, managed to escape with the horseshoe, and run into the woods where some guy with a sniper rifle and leather jacket shouts at me, so I follow him into the woods, where after a few dozen yards he just promptly vanishes into thin air. Only once out of a dozen times trying the mission did I see a message saying "You've found a map" but didnt seem to pick it up, so Im left running aimlessly around, with a pack of AI on my tail and no clue what to do...

Just downloaded and installed and tested the new APC pack, all working fine. Â Truly one of the best collections of Addons ever made for Flashpoint IMESHO.

Even though its primarily for MP, I like this as an SP mod. I like the fact that the smoke and other effects aren't too graphics intensive unlike some of the other more eye-candy obsessed mods. My Geforce2 Thanks you.

Do I have to use the Dynamic Range sound pack? I've always preferred the Battlefield Insane pack, its just so much LOUDER!

You should know better than coming round these parts saying things like that. Cause we'll hold you to them!! Seriously, Operation Mercury was one of the best campaigns Ive seen, good luck with the others. p.s I voted for Cutscenes, sad I know, but I think thats where OFPs longevity comes from for me, the chance to play Movie Director.

The desert version needs some "Dont shoot we're friendly!" markings for realism... I think its great that UKF are also making one, that way we have one from DKM which looks good with all the other DKM addons, and we also have one which goes well with Flashpoint addons.

A little of all of the above here, but #3 Over-all. Its the user made  SP missions and campaigns that keep me coming back. Of course theyre made all the better with sexy new addons/scripts/graphics etc  to play them with, but without the mission makers out there, Id probably just throw the addons round the editor for 5 minutes and get bored ...  and I wouldnt have been interested in making missions either without inspiration from them.  Do YOU remember the first time you saw the Intro to DevilChasers "Operation Firelord" ? I've had my kicks with OFP online, but without JIP it has always come a distant second to Quake3.

Thanks for the compliment Kroky! Though to be fair, Ive only ever released 5 missions to the community ( that isnt to say that Ive only made 5, a couple died a death in the OFPEC Beta forum due to lack of feedback, and Ive still got a handful of missions in various states of readiness waiting for the eventual final of Cats Afghanistan ( if we ever see it that is ) ), but to be fair, I doubt Id be able to make a mission in day! So no BAS week release today? Â Was it the mission to the OPFOR pack that was scheduled, or was it the De/Ra or Littlebird update thats been shelved until another time?

Thanks for the Mission Winters. Fantastic work in such short time. As for the lag, I put that down to the Island, my little GeForce2Ti just cant cope with those jungles ... Well done brushing off the criticism as well, it was always going to happen : "But you're not Nagual!" which is true, but thanks for stepping in to help BAS deliver content for the community, TBH, I thought about offering my mission making skills as per BAS's request to the community, but decided against it because of exactly that worry of being compared to Nagual. Its easy to criticise someone for not being Nagual, but its less easy to recognise that it takes balls to try and fill those shoes. Are you planning on updating the mission? There were a couple of minor issues that I think it would be nice to see tweaked, swapping to the Wood Camo Rangers is a good idea, and something to make sure your squad fall back into formation once dropped from the chopper ( I got half way to the base before realising my squad werent with me ). All in all, great stuff though.
