is it possible to simulate a unit flashing a torch on off quickly? I have a chooper heading towards the coast at night and want the guy on the ground to flash a torch on off. Create a flare breifly at 1m height for a second??? something like that?

Excellent Job, Love the new grenade sounds, Only gripes, the minimi sound? Also does the Famas really fire that fast? Oh one more thing the colours of the vehicles seem to vary. Not the pattern but the darkness. Are real french vehicles like that? P

Does anyone have a copy of te Operation Black Bear trailer. It used to be available on http://ofpcinematic.operation-flashpoint.de/ Â but the links are dead now. Â (around two years ago.) This trailer as I recall was one of the best out there, excellent radio chatter and cinematography.

group exit from chopper without odering them.

How do I get my group to exit the chopper without ordering them to exit. I have used the: "cmd="GETOUT"; "_x action [cmd,CHOPPER]" foreach units TEAM" in a trigger, with a delay but the chopper might not have landed before they exit (to their deaths) or it has landed and they sit there for 10 seconds! Could I have the above, but activated when I exited the chopper? thanks in advance. -

Can anyone enlighten me on how I can change the time of day and weather conditions from within my mission? BAS do this at the start of their missions - I think it was the Blackhawk demo, also I've seen it done in other missions from the menu you get when you press your wheel button on your mouse. Thanks in advance. -

Thanks for replying Tarus, but what I want is for the player of the mission to be able to select the time of day (Day or Night) so my mission can be played in either depending on your preference. Adds to the longevity of the mission. Played it in day now try it again at night type senario. -
In my mission briefing, some of the waypoints I have setup in the mission editor are displayed on the map in blue (as well as the line between each waypoint) Obviously I dont want it to show any mission waypoints. What is doing this and how can I correct it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated Thanks

Thanks guys it was the waypoint settings I'd clicked on Always Show. Changed to Never Show and problem fixed. One other thing the waypoints don't display anymore, but I have three objects (2 west open tents and a flag pole that do appear on the map in the briefing. These aren't the only tents on the map, but they are the only ones displayed. Any idea how I can make them not appear, other than deleting from my mission. -

How do I get the picture in the breifing to have a border and shadow and still show the lines of the page below? Any ideas.

I dont have a problem setting the face. I just can't find the one I want. I believe there are over 40 faces in ofp and its none of the BIS ones that I've seen on their site.

Oh no! Since installing the Resistance Addon, the muzzleflash is permanently on even when the weapon is slung on ya back!!. Â This is for the FA-MAS addon, as well as some other weapons. I didn't have this problem in version 1.46, T&L is turned off. Somebody help, because all the missions I've made are useless with this bug. Â

Ok its definite! I removed Gunslingers addon (EditorUpgrade102.pbo) from my addons folder went in and yes 'bbb004 error' again, also under the Men, Resistance menu there was no Civilian Militia guy! Added the 'EditorUpgrade102.pbo' back into Addons and  tested. No errors & the Civilian Militia guys were back in the menu!! I hope this helps everybody    Â

Earlier this week I had to completely uninstall and reinstall  flashpoint and also I removed all my addons, A Virgin installation!!! When I tried to go back into the mission I'm creating I had the bbb004 error, I know this guy is named Milita from the 'Resistannce, Men' menu, but he wasn't in the menu anymore. I installed Gunslingers upgrade1.02 and then checked in the menu and he was there again and my mission would run. I will check tonight by removing Gunslingers upgrade and hopefully prove my theory, of course I could be talking complete rubbish, so if anyone knows for sure where bbb004 comes from then I'd like to know. Thanks Â

Hi, I had the same problem earlier this week! You need the gunslingers addon 1.2 bbb004 is the Militia guy.

Could someone provide me with some details regarding the make up and structure of the foreign Legion i.e Ranks, Battalion/Regiment names etc... I'm creating a mission using the Legion Addons and would like to give it some realism... Many thanks

Can someone tell me how to stop people getting out of a vehicle? In my intro I have placed some civillians in a car with the 'moveincargo' command - "civ moveincargo civcar" Later on these poor civillians are mowed down in their car, unfortunatly they keep jumping out which is good for them because they dont get shot, but bad for me as a director! I've tried 'dostop' and 'stop', but no joy. Also the camera will only point to people where you placed them on the map, but of course they're not there because I,ve placed them in a vehicle or chopper using 'moveincargo' so if anyone knows how to get around this problem as well I'd like to know how please. Many thanks
