I hav no problems that she had problems with Germany but instead she could have used the time to step from her British throne of arrogance and start reconstructuring your primary sector industries!<span id='postcolor'> Thatcher rid the country of the strangulating grip of over-powerful unions, without her ridding us of state industry we would not have the economy of today, it wasn't just a europe-wide boom, reform was desperatly needed! As for the Germany bit, she was against comunist dictatorships, so I doubt she had a problem with German re-unification. She did have a problem with the EU scrambling for power, she called it the Belgian Empire! As for developing our industries, no one person has done as much for our economic well being.
