I dont think that we are treating the detainees at X-Ray badly at all i disagree, as far as i know they live in cages without solid walls (wind blows in freely thru the cage...), they also get handcuffed, they get vision blocked, hearing blocked, mouth covered and so on when they get of the cage..its not the way to treat pows, its not even the way to treat criminals. they might get good food and are allowed to pray and so on, but they have no idea how long they will be kept there...that is also a form of torture (no, all torture doesnt have to be physical, just imagine listening to hamsterdance music all day long, without knowing when (if ever) it will stop..)...i belive this is becouse US govt. still have not decided what to do with them, its in a way more of a problem for USA's reputation than it is for the non-pows/non-prisoners at camp x-ray.

there is one country on their "list" (cant remember name) that is on it because it has had one unsolved murder.. sweden. its not that simple as "unsolved murder"...if it would be then sweden would have the worlds most effective police force in this case (im sure its explained on amnestys page) the police killed this man while arresting him, and then falsified testimonies and did a lot to prevent the case to be opened and investigated again...its not about just a murder, its about police/goverment corruption.

i voted other....and becouse the wars from the ancient times are intresting also...napoleon, romans, mongols... im also very intrested in ww2 and ww1..mostly becouse of the sheer power of the armies of the time and how they wasted own soldiers to win just a few meters of land. todays wars arent so intresting really...a lone jet in the sky bombing defenceless enemies...

That's all nice and well, but that won't give any guarantees that the suicide bombings and other terrorist acts will stop. stop?...propably never, but the first goal would be to decrease it dramatically (not shortsighted as this war they have now, but longterm) there are to my knowledge several different indepedant groups there, different goals...some seek destruction of israel, some a palestinian state...with a state atleast some of them would be stopped and the ones seeking for destruction of israel would have a lot less chances to recruit "martyrs" it will have to happen someday, the sooner the better imho....

palestinians dont have a army to fight back with, they dont have any chance to build up a army to fight with...israeli troops occupy there territory...what to do? give up? nobody can be so naive that one would expect that to happen, every palestinian child born grows up hating these occupying soldiers, he grows up with a dream of having a own nation...but there is absolutely no chance to complete that dream since they have no army, no support (untill now?)..what to do? suicide bombers...its the poor mans nukes, wrong as they may be, there is no doubt that they are the BEST method palestinians have to fight with..what else could they do? really....nothing at all. its the most cruel method of "warfaring" since it hits anyone, anywhere....civilians or soldiers. im not supporting anyone (blah..i hate to always feel the need to explain this..) but its pretty clear that pals cant mass up a few hundred thousand soldiers, tanks, aircraft and start a regular war and go by the book... one mans freedom fighter is the other mans terrorist...one nations defenders are the other ones opressors...
