Lucky guys, you can at least run it -_-' my game just glitches like hell shooting out arrow like objects all over the screen making it totally unplayable for me

Weird, after I have restarted my computer once the game won’t start anymore. “ArmA has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.†“Error Signature - AppName: arma.exe AppVer: 1.4.0.5121 ModName: kernel32.dll ModVer: 5.1.2600.2945 Offset: 00012a5b†Thou if i uninstall ArmA, reinstall it works till next time i restart my computer >_< P4 3.2ghz 2gb ram X850XT PE 256mb Catalyst 7.1 I also have really BAD gliching difficulties (http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=68;t=57978) Thou I guess I don’t have anything to do with each other
-
Don’t really help because, as I already stated this in my first post: the first time I started ArmA it was just with the 6.12 drivers and I had the exact same gliching as I am suffering from now with the 7.1 drivers
-
As a number of people already have reported,NVIDIA users suffer from the same problem, thou not in the same degree? So don’t forget to blame NVIDIA

CRAP qutes f'cked up big time redo in two posts >_<

Same graphic card as my self. So you first experienced glitches as the picture above? I have never been able to have more then “normal texture detailâ€, don’t even no if the option exists? Exactly what did you change manual? Just resolution or also colour depth?
-
Sorry to say this, but i am actually glad to hear NVIDIA users have the same problem. So then it isn't a driver based problem?
-
I just remembered! I had something like this on Fable Lost Chapters. All the shadows in the game looked really f’cked up just after that I had installed new ATI Catalyst drivers. Also the most usual pattern for the gliching in ArmA is “through†the shadows. Seems to be less gliching if i turn them off, thou not 100% sure. Driver bug?

Graphical Glitches and problems with training miss

If you have chassis fans (none cpu or gpu fans) it's a bad idée playing with your chassis open, the air in and air out flow will not work as designed. -
I have not over clocked my card at all. I doubt that cards from the 9800, x800, x850 and x1900series all would suffer from insufficient heat sinkers. Further more I have played HL2 Company of Heroes, Oblivion, Hitman blood money, Call of Duty 2, Supreme Commander and Rainbow Six Vegas all on very high settings and never experienced any problems (more then fps drops..)
-
>_> I really wonder what this is? why dose it *fix* it self for a while if i Alt + Tab?
-
I suffer from the exact same problem. I don’t matter if I max the game out or run on minimum. The gliching disappears for a while if I Alt + Tab when it appears. It seems the gliching reappears if I change between extern and intern view in any land based vehicle (thou have only tried flying one chopper so not to sure..) or if I change between “command view†and normal view. P4 3.2ghz 2gb ram X850XTP 256mb Win XP Pro SP2 DX9.1 Catalyst drivers: First I ran the game with 6.12 then I updated them to 7.1, no diffrense what so ever. I have never experienced something like this before in any played game. Thanks for any help!
