    I have arma 2 + RFT in retail DVD.

    Worked untill 1.62 patch.

    The following was done as ADMIN.

    Reinstalled arma2

    Reinstalled RFT

    Ran both ok

    Applied 1.60 patch

    Both ran OK

    APplied 1.62 patch

    Arma 2 ok, RFT ERROR

    Ununstalled all battleeyes from "add\remove"

    uninstalled batleeye from arma2 folder.

    Still error

    Added shortcut to "arma2rft.exe -mod="

    Works!!

    How can i resinstall batleeye?

    (came to think of it, last time i had arma2 + RFT installed, i istalled them in seprate directories, with RFT first. no problems)

    Hi

    When playing a warfare mission i get a bizare bug when being commander.

    It does not matter how long i play before i am voted, and voting someone else (ai) does not seem to affect it. (so i go back to not being commander anymore)

    The bug is as follows.

    anytime i press a key on the keyboard, a "tone" sound is heard like when calling someone. at the same time, the game freezes. So if i try to walk (holding W) the game stopps for some time, allowing all the "tone sounds to be played".

    The sounds\freeze are NOT played when pressing ESC, or when alt+tabbing to windows. going to MAP and presing ESC seems to improve a little but only for a short time.

    I am playing version 1,08,74450`of vanilla arma2 on a ASUS G73JH laptop.

    Hi

    When looking at the main menu, selecting multiplayer arma freezes instantly. actually my whole computer freezes. the HDD stops making "working" sounds etc.

    I just performed a clean install, and patched it. have worked earlier.

    I can use editor and play SP without any problems.

    Running windows XP SP2 and the 505Games version of arma.

    and i turned of my firewall (comodo) just in case that was causing it..

    I can move the mouse around, push the windows key, and presumably the startmenu is there because the cursor changes when standing on top of where it should have been.

    i can enter sleep mode and resume, arma will then be stated as "not responding" (ctrl+alt+del)

    How do i fix this? =)

    Uppdate:

    I let it stand for about 15 mins or so, and now it says "recieving" instead.. the buttons are gone and such.

    both computer run the same display drivers

    6.14.0010.8185 (English) acording to dxdiag

    the new one use foreceware drivers for nforce 4, the old one dont use anye forceware drivers, so that might be it, although it shouldnt be the cause. (the old one is nforce3

    note that this also happened on a packard bell computer, and that is intel and radeon.

    pherhaps it ofp is having difficulties with pci-E?

    Mr. cheese: what videodriver is the newest one that do not cause the white \ grey sicknes?

    posted this on the y2k3 forum, but was told to ask here.

    well, i bought a new computer a while a go, (atleast its better than the old one)

    i installed OFP GOTY on both my old computer and the new one. uppdated to 1.96 and installed y2k3 (patched to 7.5 inngame) then i hosted a MFCTI game on everon. about 20 min out in the game, it is choppy as hell. on the old computer however, it were running smooth. and it continued this way for the next 2 hours. ( i played a solider, had ai commanders on both sides)

    in addition to this, the horizon does not "smoth out" like it used to, now i se the "end" its like a big dark blue wall. everyting is perfectly normal on other games.

    in addittion to this the weapon moddel gets this white disease when looking in some angels, its like a transparent layer around the weapon.

    the computers are running the same settings in OFP.

    specs on the new one.

    amd 64 4000+ 2.4 ghz

    1 gb ram, corsair value

    hk msi k8n neo4

    XFX GF 6800

    XP pro

    sata maxtor hdd

    Specs on the old one.

    amd 64 3000+ 2 ghz

    512 gb corsair value

    hk asus k8ne deluxe

    asus GF 4 TI4400

    XP pro

    old fat cable WD hdd

    this realy sucks, any ideas on how to fix it?
