Hey guys, got Arma 2 yesterday and LOVE it, apart from the fact the Multiplayer at the moment just doesnt seem to shine like the first one did. So Im asking, where is the best place to generally find teamwork-based servers? Shall I just go onto a Clan server and join, or just keep looking and get lucky? Because at the moment, its just a bunch of little whiny kids shooting eachother on every server Iv been on :S

Ill look into the SRR site, looks interesting. Also interesting how some people recruit Military or Ex-Military only. Technically, Im ex-Military, lol

Yeah I guess. Mind you, did play on both the Kelly's Heroes server and the Atmo server, made a few new mates and plenty of teamwork on both. Im in love with this game now that Iv experienced some good multi ;)

Im guessing the best way to get into it is by joining a clan. But I havnt been in a clan since like secondary school. Oh well, Ill keep joining a certain server and maybe end up liking it.

Well I was playing Evolution the other day and when advancing on the enemy city I did notice a figure moving around near the trees, I didnt really think nothing of it because I was fighting soldiers then suddenly just stopped and said 'O.O' on the chat. But everyone called me a liar, lol. Please get Arma 2 to work with Xfire so I can take a screenshot.

Wow, that sounds great, I REALLY want to play with Teamwork-orientated players, the lone wolf style that everyone seems to use is annoying. Count me in next time ;)

Got a noob question here, but I searched the internet and couldnt find anything on it. How do you change the amount of construction points for the wizard? For example sector control or flag fight. I know there is a multitude of complicated missions out there, but sometimes me and my friend just want a quick blast on rahmadi sector control to relax a bit and shoot eachother, but the limited amount of construction points means that we cant give eachother descent vehicles to mess with. Any help appreciated.

I would of thought there would of been a way to edit something like that. Nevermind, thanks anyway

Well, just to speculate a little... when you are running away from the mainland after the recon (final mission) it hints that the Americans are struggling to contain the zombies, although they are still slowly gaining ground. Maybe a few missions where you play as RACS/US troops advancing and fighting the undead horde, or maybe a few missions as a civillian trying to escape from bagango... we never do see the state of it, although the cordoning doesnt last long lol meh im just speculating, great job anyhow

I finally got the campaign working after I found out I was missing the bloody BRDM and BMP addon. Completed it today and have to say it is brilliant, loved every bit of it, and on the mission where you have to run to the base with zombies closing on all sides, really reminded me of the 28 series of films.

Dunno really, smaller game types focusing more on COOP and PvP would be nice. I recently played the zombie 'range of death' Campaign and its excellent. How about an infected game type? where all players (32 or whatever) are cordoned off in a city or set on rahmadi, and basically have to survive. Maybe one player would start as a zombie or infected, and although easy to kill can hide and kill in one slash, if a player gets infected he joins the zombie team, before you know it the zombies outnumber the players and its up to the few remaining to try and hold out as long as possible.

Hey sorry for the noob question, Iv had arma for a long time but just always wondering this: What is the difference between the M16A2 and A4? I have asked and heard it asked many times on servers but no one really gave a concrete answer, just wondering if anyone knew. Sorry for the question *prepares for flame when entering server* but just a little thing that Iv always wondered.

What do you mean by installing the mod? Could you give me step by step instructions on what to do after downloading it? I also have a lot of addons in my foldier... although I think a lot of them are for the game because when I removed some it stopped functioning properly. Does anyone know which addons are NEEDED and which ones are safe to get rid of? Sorry for being a pain, thanks in advance

Hey there, I got the same problem as Kenjara, same mission and everything. I have quite a few addons, although iv only just reinstalled Arma and patched it to latest. Will it be ok if I remove ALL Addons from the foldier and only put your thnigs in? Or is there a few addons in there that are required to play the game? Heres how I installed it (just to check) 1: Downloaded 2: Put the addons in the addon foldier 3: Put the pbo in the campaigns section 4: didnt do anything else, didnt change shortcut properties or anything ect. Is every above all correct? And brilliant campaign from what Iv seen, the few hints dropped in the first levels are good

Brilliant idea on the military base, one of my goals was to keep it up and running, and every time a soldier got his jaw ripped out I was like 'Oh bugger' As for the new version, awesome, the new body removal script and the fact that zombies dont run out is a great way to practice shooting, some people dont realise how hard it is to make expert headshots each time

Really? Usually when I get about 10 steps into the quarantined area from the border I suddenly hear shots from survivors all over the place shooting zombies (sounds really good hearing all these different guns firing off). I have to admit when you hear shots by the time you get there it is either a dead body with a free gun or a mob of waiting zombies, I played for about 10 minutes and found about 5 survivors.

Loved the film, cant wait for a sequel (if there is even one coming out) I hope that the next one will be from a soldier's headcam, we've seen it from the civillian point of view, now lets see it from the Military's :P And yes I agree it definetly wasnt a Nuke used, probably a fuel air bomb ?

Ah right sounds good, I guess I kind of shoot and run off without noticing the bodies piling up. Played a game last night, was a great laugh, me and a couple of my clan members, was quite a rush one minute patrolling a pretty quiet town, only for suddenly infected to appear from nowhere. Great on the yomies by the way, they now come from nowhere and dont run along the road like the other zombies, its also scary when you run up into a building and they follow, I would be lieing if I said I wasnt freaked out sometimes, lol What are the plans for the Military Patrols into the quarantined? It would be great if there were other forces at work apart from the stranded Base, maybe the odd patrol of maybe 4 just spawn? It sounded good hearing civillians shooting zombies with their weapons, however would sound and look a lot better suddenly bumping into a squad of 3 firing at a crowd approaching from all over. Great map, love it.

Hey, loving the new version, hearing gunshots the second I entered the quarantined area really gave an impression of 28 weeks later lol Got a few suggestions... Like the other guy, having some guys at the smugglers location would be nice, I was sprinting my butt off to get there thinking 'safety!' only for when I got there, there was only a flag and a group of infected who were chasing me, forcing for onto the dock. Another thing, when I was dropping zed after zed I noticed the bodys really start to pile up, on a mission I have a made with yomies the bodys are always everywhere, which is good but it slows up my computer, do you have a way of removing them? Just a small thing as well, its spelt 'FIELD' not 'feild' lol Apart from that, great map, I just want to find some people to play it with online now
