Sup matt im using your mod with Chammys sound mod and its a great combination, I dont think you need to change anything with the grenade anim looks great as is. Im posting a link to a vid on liveleak shows grenade training and I dont see any flash on explosion. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=dc3_1184425723 take a look at the end during live fire. Â Hope this helps. BTW Thank You for your work on this mod as it has enhanced ArmA for me! Cant wait for Future releases! Â

Wow Dejavu! Thought this issue had already been addressed Sup Even, as you know I got the mod to work. Been playing so much havn't had time to post Hope all is well with you and the team! I went into the editor and set 8 inf squads and 4 armoured squads to attack the main base on the air strip at dusk the results were spectacular! I also use the ArMaEffects mod and It adds to the atmosphere when the nades look like they are supposed to.Arma has never been so much fun! So another big thank you to you and the team.BTW GGs on the server the other day. And thanks for inquiring about the issues I had. Chammy, Evenlease,Durg78 you guys rock keep up the good work!

I hope they dint trademark it He might be forced to change it to something like "All realism All the time" or "When nothing but realism is acceptable" or "As real as it gets" Â BTW feel free to use any of these quotes as they are not in any way affiliated with the WGL or OFP. Â

BTW nice slogan for the mod! It might be comforting to know if the modding career doesnt work out, you always have a future in the advertising industry. But I hope you'll stick with modding.

Its friday the 13th you should wait till the witching hour seems like an appropriate time given the superstitous nature of the day! But 30 mins is cool, I just hope the download works for me, I've downloaded the other files six times now to no avail. I think i'll say a prayer to the download gods before I make the attempt to retrieve this file! Thanks again for all the effort and time yall have put into this. I am looking forward to some action tonight maybe ill see yall in game.

Doesnt look like the standalone is gonna happen tonight. Has anyone gotten the mediafire 2 part download to work??? I'm still getting invalid or corrupt with every download from that site.....

I say dont worry about the vehicle sounds especially if it will delay the standalone. I dont care about them for the most part. If they were never to change at all I wouldnt lose any sleep over it. And they can always be released in the next standalone or version. My main enjoyment comes from the atmosphere of the firefights and supersonic cracks. I asked Chammy to post the video of the firefight as a comparison to the real life video on Dyslexis website. And I was impressed at what he had achieved, I dont feel the vehicle sounds are a necessary part of the atmosphere created by his sound modifications. So please dont delay the standalone for something that doesnt add anything to that atmosphere. Just my 2 cents!

There shouldnt be any problem, all other files and zip folders extract with no probs on my box. Just found it odd that it wasnt working via mediafile and the fact the second folder says its supposed to be a zipped folder and upon download its just a plain file icon with the odd extension of .z01. No zipped folder icon like with the first part of the download and no .zip extension. I was already awaiting the standalone you mentioned in your previous posts and the issue is really no big deal just thought it might prevent others from downloading it multiple times from mediafile only to have the same results as me Thanks for the timely response to my post and the heads up on the release window of the standalone. And a big thank you to Chammy and yourself for making this available to the community.

I've downloaded this mod 3 times from mediafire. I tried to extract the zipped folder, and recieve the following error message each time. File is corrupted or invalid. I also notice that the second part of the download says its a zip folder but when I download it its just a file Icon with the extension .z01 anyone else having a problem with this?? I downloaded the files to my desktop and then to a seperate folder named chammys mod with the same error each time. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Tried to dl this from the 6th sense wiki and get an error, also tried the link in your sig and it gives me a redirect to this thread  is there another link to this somewhere? Just thought you might want to know that its not working hope its fixed soon as I would like to try this out. -

Thanks Chammy I look forward to seeing the firefight and comparing it to the video on dslyexcis website. Any suggestion you might have for sound settings to maximize the supersonic cracks? BTW have you seen the video im talking about? Its insane how loud the cracks are, would love to have ARMA sound like that during a firefight. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Chammy would it be possible for you to post a video of a firefight to show how the supersonic rounds sound to someone being shot at?? I currently am using predators mod and the only real beef I have with it is that the supersonic rounds sound very weak. The crack of such a round should cause you to jump as they are quite loud and unmistakeable. He said that they cant get any louder or have echo because of a limitation with the engine. Im hoping that your mod might offer some alternative or improved sound in this department. If the current sound cant be improved can it be replaced with something more realistic as seen in the live fire demo vid on dslyexcis website. Thank you for all your time and effort with regard to the sound modifications in both OFP and ARMA and the enjoyment they bring to the communities of both games as a whole. -

Thanks again predator! Its really a shame that in this day and age of dolby digital and THX certified sound cards that developers of a game of this magnitude fail so miserably at providing a good sound engine. Its only one of the key ingredients in an immersive environment. Kinda like garlic bread without da garlic almost pointless. Once again thanks for all your hard work and your timely responses to my querys. looking forward to your next release hope its soon -

Thanks, for the correction. why does the crack sound so weak? I think it should be louder and have some echo to it. It doesnt sound anything like the live fire video I asked you about.. How do you think they compare to the video of supersonic rounds during the firefight. When you hear that crack it should be loud enough to make you jump. depending on proximity of course. I just dont think that it sounds like the video. video = scary game sound = weak is there any way to intensify the sound so its more like what you hear in the livefire video??? Thanks again for your timely responses its the only area I feel is lacking in this mod. -

I checked out the video you linked I enjoyed it very much the A 10 is as darth vader would put it, most impressive! but it didnt show me an in game fire fight that is similar to the one shown on the video I mentioned in my earlier posts.Have you seen the video to which I refer predator??? are the sounds in that video possible in ARMA?? Thanks in advance for your time and answers. Keep up the good work! -

Have you seen the video at dslyecxis website about authentic sounds?? I dont hear the cracks of the supersonic rounds I hear a woosh if the round is in close proximity to me ingame. heres the link.. Â http://dslyecxi.com/bestoftactical3.html at the bottom of the page there is a video in the section about authentic sound. Just wondering why I dont hear this kind of sound in the mod...would love to hear a loud crack when rounds are near, is this not achievable with ARMA??? If you have already seen the video please disregard the link. Is there a reason why I'm not hearing it?
