ROFL EDIT: so mr zonekiller would you be kind enough to show how to edit your script to be the following things... 1, once the player calls the aistrike I want the radio clear of everything related to your script. so in other words I only want the player to be able to call one airstrike only and if you can, please tell me how to clear the radio of any more options related to your script. 2, replace all the text messages with a custom made radio conversation that i have just made for my mission. I suppose adding a line of code somewhere in "1 setRadioMsg "Select Target"; 10 setRadioMsg "Cancel Orders"" that links to the radio.ogg message file would do the trick but i don't know the proper syntex as i'm not a coder atall. thanks in advance,. P.S guys if u want the airstrike to take longer to arrive and also come from another direction, move the trigger that is at the right-end of the tarmac runway to wherever you desire. works perfect. I'm slowly getting there -

what the hell zonekiller why has every unit/waypoint/object - EVERYTHING - been cloned after using your script??? I merged your mission with mine to use your script and took out the crap unrelated to airstrikes that u put in there and now its all gone tits up. WHY HAS EVERYTHING CLONED ITSELF? i'm using murrays airstrike script now and it wont works cos the harriers it spawns get cloned and crash mid air. what the fuck has your script done to my mission. tell me how the hell this has happend. -

That's the way it's done IRL. ok i removed the waypoints over the base that order the jets to release bombs and just made the jets fly over it and tried using the laser designator on one of the BMP2's in the base and the jets just flew over the base and diden't drop their load. so laser designator was useless.... EDIT: OMG I just tried lazing again and the first bomber totally missed the base and the second bomber actually hit me and i was on a hilltop 1km away. ffs why?? EDIT: I just changed position on the map so i could view the strike from a massive mountain top and fuck knows why but the jets went a completely different direction. i tried 3 times and it happend evertime. then i changed positon back to where i was and the strike was fine. checked 3 times and it was fine on all 3 accounts. then i changed position somewhere else and tried 3 times and each time it veered off a compeltely different direction. W T F Please help. -

ok i tried lazing a target but it did not help. am i doing it right? I equip the laser designator, paint an enemy vehicle in the base with it's corsshairs then hit fire. do i need to hit fire then leave the designators crosshair painted over the target untill the airstrike is done?? damm theres not even any info on the designator in the game manual. ffs. -
how do i add subtitles?

cheers m8. i did search before asking and even went to wiki to check but the damm thing had me beleive the stringtable.csv file was the place to add the subtitles while not providing a decent cohesive guide to formatting the damm file. -
in my latest mission i've made a really cool radio messege briefing while we are being flown to the insertion point in the chopper. the only problem is that the chopper noise is far too loud for my radio messege. i know u can lower the effects volume and increase the radio volume but i am going to use subtles to get around this problem instead of relying on the player to manipulate volume settings. so basically how do i add subtitles for a playing radio messege?

crew men get in vehicle upon spotting player

basically i have 3 enemy crew men sitting down around a fire next to their t72 and i want them to get up and man their tank when they spot the enemy. i have a "GET IN" waypoint with "crew1 moveInDriver tank1" in it's activation field so that's all good but how would i trigger this for only when they spot the enemy? -

This is my first mission. It's taken many revisions to get it to where I have it and I learned as I went along. I think it's a damm good mission. You start off at the airfield, get picked up by blackhawk then inserted behind enemy lines where you must advance towards the two farm houses and clear them out then call in extraction via blackhawk again. It will play in single and multiplayer just fine. Please tell me what you think of it. EDIT: Fixed link - 4shared

if this is as well made as spec-ops original then I can't wait to play this with my clan probably tomorrow. they and i lvoed your oriignal spec-ops mission. BTW how come you've only just started topics on your missions? spec-ops has been out for a good few weeks AFAIK.......

yo is this the mission where u gotta blow up two MG positions then take out 3 shilkas then wait for ranger para drop then take arcadia? damm that was easily one of the best missions i ever played. i salute you. please, please keep up the great work

DAAAAAM so sorry guys i should of checked the mission.sqm instead of just relying on my eye in the editor. i changed all the skins from SAS skins to normal skins and it diden't work. anyway i've fixed the issue now. re-uploaded... http://www.4shared.com/file....ra.html

1 out of 2 times i hang on that bit of the connection process when i join servers. i can't remember waiting long enough to see just how long it takes but one time i waited for 6 minutes and nothing so i tasked manager and deleted arma.exe. it feezes my game sometimes. it's a real bitch of a problem. any fixes?
