Vegetation ArmA 2 On this site u can see what BIS has done with the vegetation for Arma2 and specificaly the AI viewblocks.

@Panda, I sincerely hope that Arma2's AI will be very,very,very,very,very,very much NOT like Farcry2's AI. That is one of the dummest AI ever seen in a game. They did NOT use cover and did NOT move tactically. They just stood there firing at you or running towards you. Ontopic, The video's looked indeed very nice. Let's hope it plays just as well as it looks.

Beerhunter, go for the PC. Arma2 will only come out on the PC. Marek said in an interview (don't know wich one) that they are thinking of going back to the console but at this moment that is still to be decided. I advice you to wait until the game is released before you go buy a PC because you'll know what the exact specs are but a dual-core PC is a minimum.(see the wiki).

I don't think it is any different than the healing system in OFP1 only you don't need a medic. It could also be limited to the campaign.

Absolutly COOP. There is no other MP mode that can offer the same experience as coop. It does depend on AI so if it's as bad as it was in Arma before the latest patches than it wouldn't be fun. If a game that i like doesn't have coop than it has to have a good singleplayer experience to be worthy of my money. Farcry 2 is a good example of not being worthy as it is a badly done console port with no coop. Altough the singleplayer looks promising it is mired by bugs and control problems to be a good game.

@Robert Hammer: thanx for the hotfix.Really apreciate it. From RobertHammer's answer i get that if you don't have Queens gambit you get that error.Although it's minor it was kind of annoying having that message pop up every time u wanna place a unit.

I get that too everytime i want to place a unit. Very annoying. Other than that it's a great pack.

I don't want a light to shine on my keyboard and frikking search for 1 key in the midst of 100+ other keys (and have to remember them as well, without a booklet, next to the keyboard on the frikking desk) I want my eyes glued to the screen, my 2 hands round the damn near perfect 360 controller, fingers on the analogue triggers, 2 thumbs on 2!! analogue sticks ... with a couple of extra buttons to go, headset on, talking to my XBL buddies and go,go,go in my own self made, with the ffff***ggg mission editor, on a extended co-op campaign having serious fun in a quality mil sim shooter. ... and that is what i want on 360 Hee Masqubit, I do own a PC and an XBOX360 and have a couple of games on both platforms. I prefer the keyboard and mouse over the xbox controller but ofcourse that's a personal choice. However the worry PC gamers have about Arma2 being cross platform is a real one and has nothing to do with the one being a better games platform than the other, but simply the fact that in the past certain features were removed from games (like Oblivion) to make the game more accessible for consoles. We don't want to see that happen to Arma2. Does not mean i haven't enjoyed playing on teh XBOX. It's just a different gaming experience than on the PC. Cheers.

I noticed that if you set all your ai soldiers to "NONE" instead of "IN FORMATION" they don't exhibit the strange 'always in formation' behavior. Don't know if that helps but with that i get a more open feel so that they don't stick to the formation type unless u call all of them back to formation. regards, Niels.
