Really? I thought they would have by now, it's been 10 or so years since the Soviet Empire collapsed. Considering they have changed all their arm patches on their infantry to have the current flag colors I thought they would have changed it by now. But now that I think of it, most of their air force has the former Soviet red star on them, so what you said makes more sense. Ill just figure out a little script for the flag to show up on the submarine with the current Russian flag waving over it (I am in the middle of a campaign in which a state defects from the current Russian Federation army and the submarine just opened a new sabotage mission for it, thats why it's important to me. It's rather like the Chechen conflict political wise, but military wise different... kinda.) Thanks for the enlightenment. P.S. I guess many ships aren't like this one in their navy. (Check the Russian flag on the side, small but visible.)

I know the submarine just came out (even though it's just a boat with a new outline, very clever if you ask me.) but is anybody going to make one without the Soviet symbol on it? I mean, one with possibly the Russian Federation symbol on it instead? Just curious.

Your right about the long range interceptors but not that they are just aircraft carrier defense planes, they are also used for bombing runs. The F/A-18 Hornet is the primary plane out there now, but the F-14 is still a vital plane in the Navy.

If the island is cut in half and your in enemy territory it's a long distance. Have you ever marched just 2 miles with standard canteen, ammo pouch, flashlight and medical clip? it isn't bad, but you will feel it. 30-100 pound pack does weigh you down, but if you want unrealistic, the constant state of jogging is unrealistic. I wish I could program the soldiers to get tired quicker personally. I like the idea personally, and with the .wrp type programs being made and that program possibly being released, we may have larger island soon. But yeah, I like the idea. Dropable packs sounds cool, and Resistance will have weapons that you can drop soon. So somebody will figure out something.

Well if that is the Howizter 109, it's totally wrong. I work with a artillery unit (13 Bravo - Army National Guard). There are claws on the back of the Howizter that are dropped, then the howizter does a jolt back thus locking it into place. You may want to look into that if your on the development team. Also if the people making that read this, add illumination rounds. We fire a lot of them at night, it's the only way to get the sights of crest if your changing direction. Â The Howizter isn't the smartest move in my honest opinion, to much required. You have the range poles, there are 3 procedures to the gunners reflector and much more. You also have the powder cutting and I could go on forever. It's a 20-30 seconds process that takes hours to explain, and it takes a crew of atleast 6 to work (crew chief, gunner, driver, loader, advance crew which requires 2 people if your going to do it quickly). One last thing about the powder, the charge of the powder is another issue. Charge 6 white back will kick up a ton of dust and smoke while a charge 3 will give you a small poof.
