I recently just experienced a sudden drop in fps. it drastically occurs when alot of units are in the game. for example I was able to run BOS no problem about 30 fps now when i run I can't get it past 1-2 fps. And regularly playing anymission thats not loaded with units I have a 10 or more fps drop. avg fps before 38. avg fps now 25 my specs: c2d e6600 7900gs 2gb gskill

i do the shift flush thing alot.

hmmm, somethings not right. mine came in at 206 mb. before i pack it its 287 after its 206, it must be the pbo tool. im using another one now ill tell you how it comes out.

ok, I see what your saying I misinterpreted it wrong. so run it w/o the @chammysoundmod in the short cut. Because I already have it incorporated into the main add-on folder. EDIT: tried that didn't work. Tell me what to check or not check, this may be the problem. By matt23 at 2007-07-09

wouldint that just defeat the whole purpose and bring it back to stock sounds?

does it have something to do with the properties panel on make pbo? it asks which files to leave or not compress. but the paa option is not marked.

1) Download MakePBO v1.1 and UnPBO v1.5 2) Download the sound files for the mod. 3) Copy your weapons.pbo (found in ArmA\AddOns\weapons.pbo) into a mod folder, i.e. @ChammySoundMod\addons 4) UnPBO the copied weapons.pbo using UnPBO v1.5 5) Replace all the .wss files in Data\Sound with the ones in Chammy's Mod. 6) RePBO the weapons folder using MakePBO v1.1 7) Add the mod folder name to your ArmA shortcut's target line, i.e. -mod=@ChammySoundMod (Keep in mind, the RePBO process will take a while.) I did that exact process and it gave me an error when i loaded it up. "cannot load texture ca/weapons/data/w_weapon_t.paa" any help?

ghost recon is third person No, only the arcady console versions are 3rd person. The original GR on PC is completely different. o, excuse me I didn't think they had a pc version. I wouldint have liked gr first person.

yea i have the modern warfare sound mod going, thats probably why.

looking for a u.s. clan that needs a rotary wing pilot. got the game in april, been playing steadily ever since. I usually look forward to flying the mh-6, ah-6, and cobra. Clans with smaller numbers are a plus.

is there an awkward thing with using voip in arma. I haven't heard a single person use it once for the 3 months I had this game. I try using it and no one responds talking, they just type "we can hear you". I made my transition over from bf2-project reality(whole different play from reg bf2). There wouldint be a game where people didn't use voip, I don't understand why its so under-used in this game.

thats nothing. oh wait when you disconnect and reconnect you have all your points again doesnt nessaraly mean he was cheating. No im pretty sure he was hacking, I was in game before him he came in and got all pissed because he couldint fly the cobra. I saw him try to get in the cobra having only 10 points it didn't let him. a minute later hes flying, I asked him how he did that and he said a hack.

yesterday i was playing evo and this guy was flying a cobra w/ only 10 points. he had a weird hack name with weird symbols.

anyone know where I can get a download of this to play on lan.

and how would this mission be doing that. I only see one server hosting this its not like its a big deal.

I don't know. Its a modified version of evolution but bda uses it on there server.
