    @Gecko1969 I rather have 5 correct working weapons instead of 100 more or less buggy ... New features won't make the game much better, only tweaks and fixes. Btw... how much mods were played online in OFP.. and how much mods are played now in ArmA?

    Well in case of BI, i would rather reduse the recoil. There is always a option to do it right or wrong. Redusing recoil is not much work and is the right thing. And no real veteran soldier would criticize this step. Only little 18 year old boys, which never fired a real bullet, think a AK74 can break your shoulder.

    Ugh..why do soldiers always post their, "Cool Guy," videos on Youtube? Its not about coolness, it about a realistic recoil. ArmA - "the ultimate combat simulation" should use realistic recoil values. Instead of the ones it used at moment.

    Same here... .. and i think, if a dev has to patch a game, the developer has a duty to set him self public deadlines. So the customer has a clue and don't need to ask here for updates.

    are they? where did you see that info? So far i know, 1.07 will be a hotfix for the US version, and all other version will have to wait till 1.08, which will be released in june.

    I think we got enought betas these days. If ArmA don't support a bug free version now, i rather have my fun with a working OFP version.

  19. Its realy confusing for me why you change the old OFP key settings to this new ArmA way. If i had installed OFP, i never needed to set any changes for the keys, but in ArmA i spend more time on finding working settings, insead of playing the game. Why is there no simple, smart key combination like in OFP? OFP e.g. running forward = cursor up fast running forward = cursor up + right shift Plz Bohemia, have a look on your own product again, and change the controls back to OFP. e.g. Lean Left/Right, can be set like in Locke@germany mod = cursor left/right + right shift. There is no need to make the game more difficult to controle. And which moron removed "right STRG" as button to select the firemode?
  20. I cant run faster with "right shift + cursor up", so it is a bug?! And even if it would work, why not keeping shift for that? We use STRG key for about 6 Years in OFP for selecting the firemode.

    @Opticalsnare "Improved AI" can't work, the "aiRateOfFireDistance" in "RifleCore" & "MGunCore", has no effect on the weapons (and so on AI). You need to change the "maxRange" of each firemode of each weapon too.
