Oh noes! We're derailing!

Not a lot of sci-fi stuff uses camo. I guess you can work on the textures a bit more to give it a little more of a 3D look. What kind of Sci-Fi is this going to be? Post-apocalyptic? I ask because this jeep-type vehicle looks like it would be. I think a Fallout type of mod would be an original concept to OFP.
-
Yeah, playing as tofu blocks with sticks as guns would be the same as long as there aren't any CTD's... We all know everyone plays OFP for its realism not only in some gameplay, but its models that are created. Isn't that why OFP is still alive besides new maps (with new 'pretty' models in them)?

Ack, OFP.info is the only, repeat, only fansite that I cannot download anything from.

Thunderbird84 This is great news.

To Miguel: We mentioned something like this a while back. We (the community) mentioned that FURR should scrap the 1985 Winter and Desert packs by making them into modern Winter and Desert packs and possibly in one download. FFUR 2006 is already a woodland pack. To Thunderbird: Great job on the updates! The woodland soldiers are the best I have ever seen not only in OFP, but any game I have come across, including America's Army. Can't wait for the ACU soldiers to be out in the upcoming patch as well.

It's like saying bomb on an airplane.

STGN: I wear BDUs almost every other day and I will say that they do look like the way TB made them when they are new. They have a nice, dark crisp look to them.

456820: The flag is reverse so it can simulate as if it was waving with the wind. So if a soldier is walking or running foward, it will make sense.

To Hmmwv: The M996 Hmmwv has a hard-top while the M1035 has a softtop (the main exterior differences). I personally think the M996 is better looking. To SniperSkull: Great idea SniperSkull, that is what we need.

To RollnLoop: 19" is a pretty good size of a monitor. I think the distance shots are accurate. You don't want to make the AI as dumb as the AI in most action FPS (who can't shoot for jack so you can intentially kill more of them). Try lowering your settings a tad bit and raising your 'view distance' under the video option in the game. Edit: Oh yeah, welcome to the community!

I agree with Abs, something with a  C-130 Herc (Hell, even better, a Globemaster! and anti-aircraft modules. Something with a more modern day Air Force. I think FFUR2006 is already great, they just need a bigger Air Force. Yep.

I second (or third) that, Dave and Cameron. I'd like to see COMBAT! make the Avenger to their quality. What about the M996 HMMWV Ambulance? Anyone? Anyone?

Seriously no suggestions here TB. These BDU guys are dead-on in my opinion. The BDU camo is professionally done. I like how the boots merge with the trousers (I don't know if that is how it always was, didn't know, but these guys really brought it out and made me notice). All the equipment is equally proportioned and highly realistic. Very nice stuff here. You make my favorite modern trooper models.

I admire the final version TB, i'd keep it this way for a long while. I appreciate you listening to our comments.

To bad i'm not one, none-the-less, these look really good. I know they're turrets!

To 456820, I personally think the hydration pack looks spot on, I couldn't ask for anything else. Edit:This system Thunderbird is using is from the SPEC-OPs/CamelBak brand. It is a carrier pouch that allows you to put CamelBak hydration packs into. This equipment combined doesn't curve to the body as much as the stand-alone CamelBaks. This is mainly due to the fact that the SPEC OPs carrier pouch directly connects to the back of the vest via MOLLE. Regular Camelbaks have to be harnessed just like a regular shoulder backpack. Thunderbird has it correct.

TB! This ACU model, in my opinion, is almost perfect! Of course, the only thing that needs to be fixed is what you know of already, the pattern. Thank you!

How do I create a short-cut to a mod so I don't have dump all the mod files in my res/addons folder? I got 1.96 and downloaded the FFUR1985 Winter mod. It comes with a readme as follows: I can't get this to work and can't make any sense of it. Is there something here that he skipped or didn't explain well?

I have only seen the previews. What exactly is it about (The Unit)?

American Civil War Mod v.1.2 released.
Marco.A.Aguilar1 replied to Triglav's topic in ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Thanks a lot Bigus, that helped out. -
You're a funny man hmmwv...OCD perhaps? Haha, you're cool. I'm the same way with a lot of things. One of them being here in OFP aswell, especially the ACU models.

Edit: Nevermind, found the problem out of my own ignorance.
