Hi, first of all here are my system specs: 750 MHz Duron 256 MB RAM GeForce 2 I have all the latest drivers and have my system set up well for OFP. Also, I have tweaked the OFP settings and manage to get it running quite well. When I play the official single mission Bomberman it runs very well with reasonable FPS but when I play the Invasion 44 converted version I get a lot of lag when looking at units. The FPS jumps up quite high when I'm looking at just the scenery but as soon as a unit (infantry, tank etc.) comes into view the FPS goes way down. I guess this is because the Invasion 44 models are more detailed so is there any way I can turn down the detail just for the units and leave the scenery etc. the same?

Thanks for your help. I already have textures down and unfortunately increasing the drop down to 8x makes the frame rate worse. The reason for this is I followed the setup guide on the opflashpoint.org forum sticky which seems to work quite well with original BIS units. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait for another 200 years to be able to appreciate OFP in all its glory.

Cool *fires up bong before trying stoner rifle*

Anybody? I can't upgrade my computer for another 200 years.

I wish the life had a savegame feature sometimes. As long as it loads properly that is.

You probably need Phaeden's markers which is the USMCSymbols addon.
-
Put the LOD slider all the way to right (smallest value) for best detail.

I mostly play missions and campaigns made by other people. Eventually I want to get into mission making, probably once OFP2 comes out. Hopefully I'll have a new computer by then because my one can barely run OFP. It runs the original stuff ok but all the new addons etc bring my poor computer to its knees.

Lol, I can see the warning pictures now. A couple having sex in a red circle with a slash through it. I have managed to avoid divorce by waiting for my wife to go to sleep before cranking up OFP. Then I read the forums at work. I get very little sleep during the week then catch up in the weekend.

Lol, somehow I don't think straining your eyes at a computer screen will improve your eyesight.

Where can I get this new version? They only have 1.071 there

Well I guess by making your weapons more inaccurate, getting injured easier etc, FADE would make the game harder.

I wouldn't worry, you write much better than a lot of native English speakers I've seen.

Actually there are hundreds if not thousands of unofficial addons but you probably mean something more specific.

Yes that is what I meant, anyway I tried a few ladders again and they are working fine now, don't know what the problem was.

I have a minor but annoying problem which maybe someone can help me with. I have always had my addons in the res/addons folder (except for a couple in the normal addons folder) and everything works fine. Yesterday I decided to create a mod folder for all my unofficial addons following the instructions on Avon Lady's site. It seems to work ok but on a lot of missions at the start or whenever I load I get a missing addon error (the addons are definitely not required for the mission). I know the addons are there and the mission still works but this message pops up every time (it never used to when addons were in the res/addons folder). It seems to randomly choose between one of 3 addons: BAS_repairh, ASH_bmp2snow and ASH_bradleysnow. It's just annoying having to click ok whenever I reload after dying.

I have a BAS_repair.pbo file but not BAS_repairh.pbo, should I delete that one? In the editor I can't even find the BAS repair anyway (even before moving into mod folder), what is this file?. Also I don't have Kegs Nogojev (actually I have downloaded it but not installed it). It just seems weird that I had no errors until I moved my addons to the mod folder.

I believe that is all the versions except for Independence Lost which isn't out yet (not sure if it ever wil be).
-
Nothing  Except for the Red Hammer campaign from Codemasters. Actually this is in the Gold upgrade I think.
-
And all this time I thought it was the version where Angelina has a small pointed beard.
-
I don't even have Tonal. The only thing I have changed is to move all pbos from res/addons into a new mod folder (except for original BIS pbos) and make a new shortcut which accesses the new mod folder. Everything worked perfectly before I did this. And the addons it asks for are definitely there.

I have the same problem and don't really want to install. Please can anyone help? I have found 1 ladder that I can climb (on the arab fort addon) but all the others I try don't work. I just thought, are the ladders before resistance climbable?

Addons folder or res addons folder

Just use a download manager (I use Flashget) and download at night when you go to sleep. I've been able to download nearly 1gig of addons in just a week by leaving it downloading at night.
