Yeah, thanks again for those Jonstyle, i'll have those pics put online for NFS ASAP. The GD we're using ATM is a BWMod version we've modified, hence the somewhat unfinished look as it's still WIP. There's no date on release on them still, so there you go! ;-) Well now, been somewhat off-duty myself the last two weeks or so, Viking hit the nail, real-world stuff does take priority i'm afraid... However, things are shaping up, the soldiers are growing off some diseases and we're inching us towards an updated release. Denorc[ORCS] might be giving us a hand too (still haven't got that mail sent yet, sorry for that ), you've all probably seen his excellent work now it might come to NFS too. Later all! Marcus
  2. Well, kudos for being honest atleast... ;-) PM inbound
  3. Jonstyle, Rgr on pictures. Would be much appreciated. PM me please

    COMBAT! HEMMT Pack Public Beta

The top one too? Sorry, my mistake then. Hope you lot eventually get around to doing modified FMTV's then!

    COMBAT! HEMMT Pack Public Beta

Excellent work guys! See you're doing some more variants in the next version, have you considered doing the modified SF type HEMMT used in Iraq? Sort of like this, if you manage to see through all the kit : Would be excellent seeing a mean version of this if Klink managed to get his multi-turret setup working properly! Doesn't look like a HEMMT, but still really nice:
  6. You also might want to reduce the .50 rifle recoil too. It's outragously high ATM and makes our models warp when fired. We'll see if we can do that by next release, but in that case, the .50 won't be JAM.
  7. Boonie, beret and helmet. Also a helmet version with a shemagh and a beret version with a personal radio. The MG3 still has some way before it's done, it's not the complete thing. Sorry about the JAM issue, we like to stick to community standards and it's probably going to stay that way. We're making custom 5.7mm ammo though with another sound etc. Btw, the JAM sounds are more realistic IMO, not some beefed up Hollywood stuff. Thanks for comments and feedback folks!
  8. I might also add that the FAV, or Multikjřretřy as it's called in Norwegian will probably be our next release after we've got this pack to version 1.0. There's still quite a bit to be done before it's ready, but without any promises i'm assuming sometime August. Early piccie: We can't have soldiers roaming about with no ride now, can we? There's also a Bell412 hocus (i believe) in the works and not too far off.. Now, some more info on our Special Forces setup. As you may or may not know, we were initially planning for a generic type special forces model in this release. We decided against this because the scope of what these guys do is much greater than running about with desert BDU's and a shemagh around their head. Therefore we are starting to think about a pack with something like six-seven different models. What we're currently foreseeing is; - HALO/Jump equipped unit - Diving equipped unit (based on the CoC_Diver) - CQB unit, black clad, woodland and desert (Also Police Tier 1 unit, Delta/Beredskapstroppen) - Wood/Desert LRRP units, big backpack, shemagh etc. - Local dress, Afghan style clothing, Pakhool hat and chicom chestrigg over desert BDU. - Local dress, eastern European clothing, scruffy tracksuit and leather jacket with Russian type belt kit. - CP Detail, Civvy clothes and western style rig This will naturally take some time to complete, but we already have the base models, so we're probably looking sometime within the next two or three months. As of now we're still just brainstorming on this, so if anyone has good idea, we'll hear you out. Cheers, Marcus
  9. Thanks for feedback! ;-) The blood is only temporary, i've done most of the soldier textures and the blood is something of an experiment from my part. It's the beginning of a new method i'm trying out, but it'll be better in the next release (sometime within three weeks). The MG3 thing, didn't know about that, i'll have Viking look into it ASAP. Also the helmets, is this the problem that when you shoot a desert soldier in the head, the texture reverts back to the BAS black texture? If anyone finds any other issues, let us know!
  10. Two versions are included, regular and a marksman version. See readme for details
  11. Believe one of the terms of JAM was that the addons using it had to have it included. I get and agree to your point, and i'll make another archive without it.. Cheers, Marcus
  12. My oh my, didn't take long for replies... Another bug not mentioned in the readme, the radio pack seems to have it's medium lod missing, so only produces a white blob further away than 15m. Remedy, don't use the RTO Operator yet, all soldiers have personal radios anyway. Sorry for this..
  13. Lately the NFS team has been working hard on getting our first Norwegian addon ready. Viking, the soldier modeller and coder on the team went to Canada for a two week vacation, this in effect would give us a two week downtime with not much done. Result, we decided to work extra hard to get a Beta version ready for the community. It's basically the finished product, save a few minute creases that need ironing out. Hope you lot like it and take the time to post bugs, feedback and any future wishes in this thread. Now, what's included this time around? - Desert and woodland camoflaged units. - Three different headdress, berets, boonies and helmets. - A suite of weapons representing most of the Norwegian armory. - Realistic soldier loadouts. - Changeable beret colors, see readme for more information. The readme contains quite a bit more information, be sure to read it! Also there's a read1st file that we would appreciate if you took the time to look through. Now, the link, JAM Included: http://nfs.gotf.net/files/NOM_Soldiers_0.9_BETA.rar (16mb) Without JAM: http://nfs.gotf.net/files/NOM_Soldiers_0.9_BETA_no_JAM.rar (10mb) JAM v2 http://www.ofpec.com/editors/mods/JAM/JAM2.rar Enjoy all!
