Wondering if anyone can help me. When the direcX 9 BETA version was released i installed it on my system. I presumed when DirectX 9 FINAL RELEASE was issued it would uninstall the BETA version from my system. It has uninstalled most of it but when using 'dxdiag' it shows that several unsupported drivers are being used (ie  a bunch of old BETA ones) This has caused all my applications to recognise DirectX as being uncertified by Microsoft. Does anyone know how to remove these files or does anyone have the same problem. Here are the files still on my system: Microsoft.DirectX.AudioVideoPlayback.dll Microsoft.DirectX.Diagnostics.dll Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3D.dll Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3DX.dll Microsoft.DirectX.DirectDraw.dll Microsoft.DirectX.DirectInput.dll Microsoft.DirectX.DirectPlay.dll Microsoft.DirectX.DirectSound.dll Microsoft.DirectX.dll These are all version 5.03.0000.0308 and are all Beta Retail. The same files exist but for the Final Retail version 5.03.0000.0900. I have tried system restore but for some reason my computer does not wish to restore to pre-BETA time.  Help!

May i say that this problem is not only related to addons but ATI Radeon graphics cards, mainly the new 9700 as was the case with myself.

Has anyone had any problems with these drivers, just not sure if i wanna use dodgy unsupported beta drivers?!

Hey i changed AGP to 64MB and it worked im a happy puppy now. I wanna know what this actually does, does that not mean other games will suffer as a result by reducing from 128MB to 64MB

Yo terminator does ur Radeon 9700 work with Resistance coz mine doesnt and a few others seem to be experiencing the same glitch Cannot memory-map RES/addons/o.pbo My Radeon works for op flash just not the Resistance expansion pack But the 9700 proves to be an awesome card in other games.

Ok guys ive just purchased a new pc: 2.8GHz Pentium 4 120GB hard disk space 1GB DDR RAM ATI Radeon 9700 Creative Labs Audigy Platinum card After playing op flash resistance perfectly on my old pc which had a Geforce2 MX 64MB i am pretty disappointed to hear that the Radeon 9700 has a glitch with Resistance. I just wanna know if there is a solution to this "Cannot memory-map RES/addons/o.pbo" or if ATI or Codemasters themselves are coming out with new drivers or a patch? Has anyone got it working?
