64c isn't high at all. 68xx series gpu's are supposed to be able to handle temps much closer to 100c, so you've nothing to worry about. My 6800GT idles around 60c ( around 75c when under full load ). IIRC there's a bug with the temp display in certain recent Forceware drivers ( check the forums at www.guru3d.com for more info )

Hey all, Since the current ATi drivers ( even the ones by Omega and DNA ) cant seem to impliment the brightness / contrast settings ingame properly, download Rage3D Tweak if you dont have it already http://www.rage3d.com/r3dtweak/ It lets you tweak theses ingame ( any game ) by the use of hotkeys. Also makes OFP look nicer, less washed out when you add more contrast / less brightness... GeForce card users can use RivaTuner for the same tweaks...

AGP aperture should never really need to be set about 64/128mb.

Spline curves for camera movement possible ?
MoodyB posted a topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Hey all, Does anyone know if Flashpoint has support for spline curves when creating camera movement - i.e ease in / ease out. Or would you have to do this by hand with multiple keyframes gradually getting closer together ? -
You cant change the brigtness / contrast in-game ? If so, turn on 'desktop hotkey support ' , then it will work. You'll only need this until the Catalyst v3.7 drivers are released though, as it apparently has per game prefs built into its driver control panel......lets hope its bug free

Hey all, Has anyone played this? I cant get past the part where 2 UAZ trucks come rolling into the town and deploy about 20-25 troops. They then proceed to wipe out myself and the other 2 ops with me. Tried grenading the trucks with no joy and cant find and sachel charges for the life of me... Did manage to kill about 15 of them by hiding under the 2 large trees in a fenced off area, but was killed repeatedly when trying to find more ammo. So, whats the obvious thing I've missed then ?

Hey all, Havent played Flashpoint in a while, but getting back into it. I was wondering if anyone has released a MOD or a method to replace the default character models in the original 3 campaigns ? They're starting to look very ugly as the months pass by Or is it a case of editing config files ? ? ? Regards, ALan

Replacing default soldiers in orig 3 campaigns ?
MoodyB replied to MoodyB's topic in ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Sorry guys, this should have been in the mods discussion part instead I guess. Apocalypse4: Main reason I want to change the original troop models is that they are damm ugly to be honest  The Finnish Defence Force mod is very good though, especially the winter missions. benu : Thanks for that. I'll take a look at it later on  -

Hey all, My apologies if this has been covered recently( I searched and couldnt find anything ).I'd like to know the solution to stop the LOD textures on trees and bushes appearing about 40ft in front of you in OPF 1.85(they appear lores for quite a distance then suddenly change to a higher res texture pretty close up)This has annoyed my for a while and playing with various settings doesnt seem to improve it. Can anyone offer any advice? My system : XP1900+ / Win98SE / 512MB / 64mb GeForce3 / DX8.1 / Det 30.30 / Soltek SL-DRV5 / Regards, ALan

I currently own a Fortissimo3,but hopefully for not much longer if Dabs will let me return it.Apart from the OPF problems its current drivers have, this card does have some hidden problems that you wont be aware of until you read the Hercules forum or try certain things regarding the 3d hw acceleration and the digital out,so I wouldnt recommend it to anyone in all honesty. So I bought a SonicXplosion to replace it(Videologic).Hopefully it will be at least as good as their older Sonic Fury(which is a TB Santa Cruz rebadged,or the other way around)and I'll be happy.

What are your ram speed settings in your BIOS.I had to make them less agressive here to get Resistance stable. All fine since:)
