I'm using the UK version and I've been downloading patches from flashpoint1985.com amongst other places, all complain about a missing CD. I have a CD ROM drive and a CD-RW. I've tried installing from both. I even borrowed my friend's OFP cd and put one in each cd drive, still nothing. There is a posting of the exact same problem on page 2 of the technical FAQ on this forum. The game has no trouble detecting the the CD when I'm running and playing the game, just not when I'm patching.

I've installed OFP and the gold upgrade (taking me to 1.30) but when ever I try to upgrade to 1.47 (or 1.45 or 1.42) I get the error message "Please insert the correct CD ROM and restart the application" I have the cd in the drive and it's an original version. Can anyone help? it's driving me up the wall. My OS is Windows 98
