  1. Ive reinstalled my gfx drivers, with no luck
  2. on recommendation from the avon lady, i tried all the 'fixes' for input delay. No Luck Also, i found out my sound card was using the same IRQ as the gfx card, so i put that in the second last slot so now the gfx card isnt sharing with anything. Still no luck This is looking unpromising
  3. also, i dont think its overheating problems cuz my cpu hovers around 30c at full load. Im running a 350w PSU? would that be sufficient? :o and the thing that really bugs me is the fact that the problem is ofp specific - i have no problems in other games.
  4. the ram modules are both 256mb, CAS2 sticks, so i dont think its that... AGP transfer rate is at 2x
  5. i have an ub3r problem with ofp OFP Locks up every 15-20 seconds while in actual game (including the menu, but not the mission editor), and it locks up for around 10-15 seconds each time. This happens worst when i have AGP Aperature in my bios set to over 128mb. The problem with this is, i have to set my agp aperature to under 128mb, which has been causing problems in other games. Im running an Athlon 677, w/ 512mb ram, and a radeon 8500 64mb. This problem arose when i bought the radeon 8500 - ofp worked fine with my old matrox g400. Purleeze help, tis getting on my nerves now... i have my agp aperature set to over 128mb now, because more games have problems from having it low than ofp having it high

    Radeon 8500 :(

Mwhahah! Methinks i fixed it... one of my (sharp eyed) mates noticed i had Power Management turned off in my bios. Supposedly WinXP runs unstable if u dont have Power Management switched on in bios, so i turned it on and op flash seems to work a dream Maybe something else for your FAQ AvonLady? damn unstable Xp poo

    Radeon 8500 :(

Aint sure if it is defective actually.. i just tried OFP in windows 2000 using the same settings than in XP, but using the 5.13.01.6025 drivers for 2k. It worked fine, no lockups that i could find I just installed those 2k drivers in Xp - everything else works, OFP still locks up im beginning to think Xp has it in for me. I get gr8 performance in every other game (better than in 2k) but i may have to switch completely back to 2k if this continues...

    Radeon 8500 :(

Well, ive just moved my sound card down 2 PCI slots so it aint sharing an IRQ with my Radeon anymore, ive tried all the fixes on input lag, everything that seems to be to do with my problem... nothing. absolutely f*ck all

    Radeon 8500 :(

Lo.... Just wondering if anybody's had this problem or knows how to fix it. Ive got a 64meg DDR Radeon 8500 running in ma system, and it works schweet in everything. Theres one downside though. Although it works like a dream when it works, it keeps on locking up intermittently in Op Flash. it doesnt do it in any other games, but it op flash, it locks up frequently for about 15 seconds, then 'unlocks' again so i can play for another 30 seconds or so. As you can imagine this is bloody annoying, specially when im trying to make a map / play multiplayer, and i got no idea why it does this. Im awaiting a reply from ATI technical support about it, but am just trying to follow up different areas in case ATI tech cant gimme a decent answer. Thanks guys....
