I personally find it much harder to hit anything in arma than in OFp. The mouse sensibility is too much even at lowest and the movement of the aiming feels like a yorkshire pudding.

I hope not! That would be terrible ... terrible why?? Ctf is the most entertaining type of play done in many years, it has lots of possibilities. ----------------------------------------------------------- edit, ill wait to play it more in extense

The future of most games yes, but when i look at OFP i can safely say that after 5 years COOP and CTI are the surviving gametypes, CTF is a minority and DM almost completely dissapeared, i expect the same with ArmA. I havent played 1 CTF that was even remotely realistic, ive nothing against using a game for something else then it was made (i love the zombies for OFP), but at least admit that you arent using it for something realistic. After 5 years only hardcore fans play this game... but those hardcore fans dont make the game a legend.. what makes a game legendary is its quality and that casual, hardcore and any type of player plays it after 4/5/6/7 or whatever years. OFP right know despite what hardcore fans say its dead. About the realism try to think not so narrowminded... a flag doesnt have to represent exclusively a flag it can represent anything else and makes gamepley turn out to situations with squad realistic movements, tactic assaults, defens of positions, sniper covers, etc.... obviously if you play a ctf in a public server you will have lonewolfs all the way but if you play squadlike ctf is the best option miles away.

Obvoiously that doesnt work if you want to grab the flag. --------------------------------------------------- HAvent played the game i will give my opnion nevertheless. Compared to other games OFP is very slow in its action gameplay mainly due to specifical gameplay and controls. That isnt bad in a sort of way, people can like it or not. I personally like it a lot, it was perfect for coops and perfect for CTFS making the action still fast paced BUT REALISTIC. If people are saying ARMA is still slower then i can predict this game is dead. In OFP CTF action as i say was perfect, not too slow. And that is very sad, i had a lot of hope in this game. The future of multiplayer is CTF, conquest etc... and you need fast action for that or at least the fast action there was in OFP CTFS, one of the best multiplayer experiences out there.

Well you know, i tend to go for some news on ofp2... Maybe your shot dick head can´t process that, but hey, thats your problem. cause they are selling the game at 9 euros. Maybe the stupidness is in your head when you cannot past being a fanboy that doesn´t see the obvious. It is surely dead, the only thing is that they sell it at 9Euros and ppl are buying it low budget. Yeah welll... when you have tested a great game... with great graphics and great physicis everything bbelow that is a shit.. and ofp´s engine is nearly 9 years old.

totally dead, more than a year unistalled. HAving tested other games it is now impossible you still enjoy OFP with it flaws in graphics and specially phsysics.

It isnt also true that there is a conflict in Spain, the only bastards that use violence and bombing are these sons of a bitch. There is no opression in "Basque countries" and police or army take no military actions. So if you could sign that petition maybe CNN would change that argument and say the news correctly. i think there is too much complaints here. C´mon guys think about Lag. The buildings and cities look vveeeeeery welll and i believe they don´t produce Hardly any lag at all. Thats something to consider. I´ll enjoy the great taste That BAs has in this island. For example: Jungles, it really brings a jungle atmosphere. It takes you to claustrophobic limits (sorry bout my english). Ambience is perfect, sounds in the atmosphere etc. Cities, when you mount in the turret of the jeep and start aiming through the streets is simply amazing, totally belicist atmosphere. Excellent island, very detailed in m opinion and with great estability. It has also a very good details with that red wrecked car, the sofas, clothes, publicity in cities. Congrats to BAS. P.D. Hi, Excellent island, congratulations to Bas team. It lags a bit more than nogova for me but its a quality addon. I´m playing the campaign and in the third mission when i blow up with satchel charges the ammo depots the objective is not completed. How do i have to blow´em to complete the mission??

Hi, We are doing missions to presente in the OFP spanish league and we want to use custom islands that are lag- free, don´t require high specs and bring new options for tactics like new valleys, high grass, rivers, lakes, new buildings, etc... If you could also post the link to the download would be great. Thanks very much.
