    Error installing patch 1.30

The only reason to restart is for releasing any .DLL files in use (read: in memory) that got changed with the new install. If you install the game and subsequently all patches and add-ons without starting the game, there's no need to re-boot. Cheers!!

    PATCH 1.30

Hi guys, Same here.... tried to install the 1.30 patch, but no avail. I did a complete uninstall and deleted the "codemaster" folders (after I backed up my save games and personal folders) and all subfolders. Did a complete install from scratch, installed patch 1.20 without any problems. Next I tried to install 1.30, but the OFP logo comes up and disappears. After that, nothing. My DVD player (which has the OFP-CD in it) is the first drive, thus D:, so that shouldn't be a problem either. My OS is Windows ME and I have ample space available on my HD. Something IS definately wrong with this patch. Can we see some reaction from BIS or Codemasters please? Regards, Mumbly
