Hi, 1) I can't seem to shoot parashutists (yes, it's sick, I know... ) but it would be nice to have the option. 2) Also, when in one of the tall blocks of flats in the mission to destroy the choppers, you have the option to climb the ladder but it doesn't let you. 3) I can't place some weapons in the trucks without first switching to them. Does it only happen in a game of OFP? I had frequent hangs and crashes on my WinME machine running DirectX 8.1 I rolled back to 8.0a and since then everything has been running fine. I just wondered if it was something to do with XP having Dx 8.1 built-in from install. Cheers, Dave.

OK, Wander round and place you charges where they will take out everything you need to. Walk to the shore/harbour where there is a boat with a couple of soldiers in it. Lay down behind the ammo crates and set off your satchel charges. Turn round and take out the guys in the boat. Still laying down, keep an eye out for the 2 Officers appearing outside the barn-type building on the left, near where the tank patrols. They will run over to the ammo crates. Stand up when the first one reaches you. From here the cut scene should start and the rest is history... Cheers, Dave.

By the way, how do you uninstall DirectX to go back to a previous version? I have 8.1, and since the install I have the Occasional freeze in this and IL2-Sturmovik and UT. (P3 @933, 384Mb, GeForce 3, WinME). Cheers, Dave.

****************************** WARNING!!! This is a SPOILER below: ****************************** This is one of the easier missions: Grab yer gear and set off down the hill. Plant your bombs in between your targets to ensure they all get taken out when you detonate. Walk down to the beach where there is an ammo dump and a couple of guys in a boat. Lay down on the slope behind the ammo. Set off the bombs. Kill the guy with the M2 in the boat. Call in the yanks. Wait for the two officers to appear out of the large building near where the tank is patrolling. Let them run over towards you. When one of them is close enough, stand up and the cut scene will start. Simple. Fantastic scripting for the outro too. All credit to BI/Codemasters for Red Hammer - I thoroughly enjoyed it! If you use the Dragunov where the first 2 Vulcans are, you can snipe the pilot of the small boat sitting out in the bay - the rest of the soldiers then jump out and drown. Saves ammunition... Dave.
